"Wake up honey, first day of school" Jennifer says cracking the door open.

I yawn and stretch a but then throw my feet of the side of the bed and rub my eyes.

"I'm up" I say.

"Ok" she says closing the door.

I wear black tights, a black crop top, and some Steve Madden booties with my tattoo chocker and white half yin yang necklace in which my best friend owns the other half.

I put two rings on and a bracelet and my outfits set.

I then apply pink natural looking lipstick , then eyeliner and mascara and I'm ready to go.

I curl my hair and take the ends going around and put a bow to hold them.
I grab my bag and I run downstairs.

"Jacks driving you since you two will be attending the same school, you guys are also in the same grade, ok you two have fun, and have a good first day of school Rose!" She says and I hear a slam as a flinch.

"What do you want to eat I have cereal, waffles-" I cut him off

"I'm not hungry." I say.

He puts his hands up in defense.
"Okay then let's just go" he says.

We exit the house and a breeze hits me and I'm very confused. It was hot as can be but now it's cold?

Jack pulls into a schools parking lot then announces
"This is it"

I sigh and take in a breath before stepping out of the car, closing the door as I do so and taking steps towards the school. Leaving jack behind.
I walk down halls and many people glare. I don't think much of it, nothing these people can do to make my life worse.

I see a door that reads 'main office' and I walk inside.

"Hellos my name is Rose Evans and I'm starting here today. I'm new" I say.

"Ah yes! I have your classes right here." She says smiling and handing them to me.
I take them and exit the room without another word. Yes I was being rude but truth be told I'm just one screwed up son of a bitch.

I walk down the halls examining my paper. As I leave the hall I'm suddenly outside.

"I GOT IT" a boy screams and slams his body into me as he chases a football.

"Holy shit watch it" I say regaining my balance.

"Hey you're the one in the-" he says then he turns around.

"I'm sorry haha. You must be Rose, the new girl."

I raise my eyebrows at his sudden mood change.

Then I shove myself past him and continue walking.

"Hey wait up!" He says and jogs catching up to me.

"I can help you find you're classes if you want" he says.

"No thank you" I say and take a sudden turn.

"I'm Sammy by the way" he says.

I stop and turn to face him.

"Look I appreciate you trying to be nice but I'm just trying to get by this new fucking life so I'd much rather be alone" I say and continue walking.

I find my first period class and enter as the bell rings.

I reach the teacher known as Mrs. Day and give her my paper and she signs the list the needs to be signed by all teachers to approve my new attendance to this school.

"Take a seat next to Sammy over there please" she smiling and pointing next to the boy from earlier. "And welcome to Brooks high" I return the smile and walk back to the seat rolling my eyes as I do so.
Mrs. Day begins speaking but I can barley focus.
"Hey rose I'm sorry if I was an ass or anything" Sammy tells me.

"It's not you. I'm just really stressed out. Sorry." I say.

"It's fine, I mean we all stress out sometimes." He says unsure if what he even said.

"Jack. Late again. " I hear and I look up expecting to see my cousin, but instead I see a brunette guy. I take in his features and he's really attractive.

"Don't even bother. He's a manwhore and he'll use you. Don't waste you're time." Sammy says quietly to me.

"Don't worry. I wasn't planning to."
