i wake up in a hospital bed and a nurse walks in.
"im afraid i have some news." she says.
"your boyfriend, jack was here earlier. he didnt leave all the time you were here which was 4 days."
"is he still here? can you let him in?" i rush out.
"he just left. i guess i gave him some heartbreaking news." she sighed.
"wh-what?" i ask.
"im not sure if you were aware, but you were 8 weeks pregnant. you lost the child in your crash." she said and tears began falling as i think of the night of the party.
it was jacks baby.
is that why he left?
then it hit me. he doesnt know, that we, you know.
i covered my mouth as i gasped.
he didnt leave because i was pregnant with his child.
he left because he thought it was sams.
