"KURONO", chisaki called out.
"yes overhaul?"
"tell me. what's this dissatisfaction that I feel?" chisaki looked at his comrade, perhaps his only true friend.
kurono observed chisaki's grim expression. he knew exactly why he felt dissatisfied. and he knew that chisaki knew why he felt dissatisfied.
"perhaps it's because—"
"nevermind", chisaki interrupted.
kurono just looked down. if his emperor wished for him to cease his talking, then he shall be quiet.
however, kurono felt something stir in his heart. he clenched his fists and gritted his teeth. for the first time in his life, he felt angry at chisaki.
"was it worth it?", kurono asked.
"hm?"
"was it worth it", kurono repeated.
chisaki adverted his gaze. he sighed as he leaned back onto his throne. his gloved fingers tapped the armchair in a rhythmic manner.
"yes".
