time skip—christmas dinner

ricky was talking to red and ej on the couch while the others were setting up the dinner table.

"glad you came home for christmas!" red said and ricky playfully rolled his eyes. "yeah, i was supposed to go here for thanksgiving and visit my family and gracie, it's just that i had tons of work to do."

"yeah. when was the last time you visited gracie? or have ever been in touch with her?" ej asks.

"yeah nini makes us talk over the phone. it's so awkward. the last time i did that was about a month ago."

suddenly, a series of yells came, "nini, gracie you're here!"

ricky's eyes widened, "bro, you all assured that they weren't coming here?!"

"oops!" red and ej both laughed and ricky just gave them a death glare.

he saw nini and gracie at the doorstep. gracie was holding nini's right hand with her cute little fingers. meanwhile, nini had a plate of cookies on her left hand. ricky decided to approach the two, until gracie let go of nini's hand. "gracie where are you going?"

the little girl walked to ricky slowly and gave him a hug. "gracie! oh my god, i missed you." he replied as she swooped her to the air.

nini followed her behind and was shocked to see the curly haired boy. "gracie why are you—oh my, hi ricky."
