it has been two days since ricky found out about his promotion and he didn't know what to do. he was getting very stressed and frustrated lately because he had to make a choice soon and he didn't like lying to his girlfriend.

it was sunday night and ricky decided to call his friends to ask for advice. he went downstairs so nini wouldn't hear him.

ricky: hey guys. sorry for calling this late, but i need advice.
red: yeah it's fine man, what do you need?
ricky: ok uh so i got promoted to head producer.
carlos: that's great ricky! and that's bad because??
ricky: if i accept this job, i have to move to la
red, carlos and ej: oh.
ricky: yeah.
ej: i mean, you wanted that job for so long right? why don't you accept it?
carlos: because he's got a girlfriend and a godchild to take care of here in salt lake, you dumbass!
ricky: yeah, i don't wanna leave nini and gracie here. i love them both with my whole heart,but at the same time, i really want this job. it's such a great opportunity for me. with that, i'll be able to provide more for gracie and help nini. but i can't just tell them that we have to move to la. nini is happy here in salt lake. her family, friends and her job are here.
red: sorry bro, we don't know what to say, but if you want my advice, i suggest do what you want. do what your heart tells you. it's your choice.
carlos: yeah i would have to agree with red. it's really your choice. it's all up to you.
