nini's birthday was coming up so the timing was absolutely perfect to plan and do a wedding proposal. nini expressed that she wanted to go to la for her birthday so she could visit disneyland for the first time and of course, ricky agreed, being the good boyfriend he is.

it was the night before their first ever family trip to la and everyone in the house was excited, especially both nini and gracie. it was going to be gracie's first ever plane ride while nini's first ever trip to disneyland.

she was in the middle of packing when she saw that she needed an extra overnight shirt. nini opened ricky's side of the closet to steal one of his old shirts since she loved sleeping in them. as she got the shirt she wanted, something caught her attention, a small black velvet box. nini, being the curious girl she is, grabbed the box and opened it. she was surprised to see a beautiful silver ring, with tiny diamonds surrounding it and a small one in the middle. it was beautiful, it looked like her dream engagement ring. she suddenly heard footsteps coming from the stairs and she shoved the box back where it belonged.

"hey baby, what are you looking for?" ricky asked as he walked in, seeing his girlfriend near his side of the closet.

"oh i just needed an extra overnight shirt so i stole one of yours." nini giggled.

"oh babe, why do you love stealing my clothes?" ricky asks with a smile as he pulls her by the waist.

nini positioned her hand in the back of his neck, rubbing it softly, "why not? they're so comfortable to sleep in, plus your scent is amazing, so that's a plus too."

"ok fine. but i'm not gonna lie, i enjoy seeing you in my clothes."

nini blushes and giggles, "aw i love you."

"i love you too." ricky replies as he leans to give her a quick peck on her lips. "now i'm gonna shower, we have an early flight tomorrow."

as ricky walks to the bathroom for a shower, nini couldn't help but jump in excitement. finally, the man she loved the most was finally proposing to her.

the salt lake sun was shining through the window, a few birds chirping making nini wake up. she rolls over to the other side of the bed, seeing ricky still fully asleep. she sits up slightly, brushing off the the curls that were falling to his face. he slowly opens his eyes and smiles, making nini gasp. "oh sorry did i wake you?"

"a little bit, but that's alright." ricky replies with a small smile. "we really need to get up anyways, our flight leaves soon."

ricky tried to stand up so he could head to the bathroom but nini grabbed his wrist, making him stumble back to bed. "before you shower, kiss me first."

"you're so needy." ricky replied as he gave her a quick peck on the lips.

"you should've gotten used to it by now. we've been dating for like what 4 years? plus we raised a child together." nini chuckles, giving him a longer kiss.

suddenly, they were interrupted by a loud knock on the door. nini groaned a bit as ricky let out a light chuckle, "come in."

gracie walks in the room, a bright smile evident on her face. "it's vacation day! i get to ride an airplane for the first time and see the disney princesses. i'm so excited!"

ricky and nini both approach the little girl, they both bent down to reach her and nini started to talk first. "so glad that you're excited too hon. i can't wait as well. it was a good thing your classes were postponed today due to foundation day."
