incoming facetime call: carlos' fan club

carlos: what the fuck were you talking about in your rant?!
ej: yeah man, we can't speak gibberish.
ricky: can you all keep it down? nini might hear us.
big red: oh so it's about nini then?
ricky: uh yeah, i kinda....kissed her....and lowkey asked her.....out.
carlos, ej and big red: WHAT?
ricky: yup, you heard me.
carlos: so did she say yes?
ricky: maybe.
ej: ha what happened to "if i see her again, i'm throwing hands."
red: yeah? don't you hate each other or something? what made you suddenly kiss and ask her on a "date?"
ricky: i mean feelings can change i guess. she's just amazing at everything. i really like her and if she doesn't want to rush into things, i won't force it.
carlos: damn you're so head over heels over this girl. the ricky bowen we know wouldn't do that.
*everyone laughs*
ricky: hey ej, you dated her right? back in high school?
ej: yup. why do you ask?
ricky: what does she like in a "date?"
ej: honestly, anything. as long as you show that it comes from the heart, then she'll definitely love it.
nini: ricky? ricky?
ricky: holy shit. nini's calling me. i have to go bye.

ricky shouts down the laptop and sees nini coming down the stairs. "hey nins, what's up? you should be asleep. it's kinda late."

"i could say the same thing to you." nini responds with a chuckle, sitting down beside ricky on the couch. the two sat in awkward silence until nini broke it off, "so uh i just wanna ask again but what are we?"

"oh uhm i don't know." ricky responds nervously. "all i know is that i really like you and i want to at least take you out. but if you don't want to rush into anything, that's totally fine with me. i'm willing to wait."

nini didn't respond and instead leans closer and starts kissing him again. they continued to make out for a few minutes. nini broke off the kiss and chuckles, "you wanna take this upstairs?"

"woah, are you sure? i don't want to pressure you or anything." ricky says and nini nods, "yes i'm sure."

the next morning, nini wakes up to the sound of birds chirping and the morning sun streaming right through the window. she rolls over to the other side of her bed to see ricky still asleep. she stands a bit to reach him and plays with his curls, making him wake up.

"oh sorry, did i wake you?" nini whispers and ricky chuckles, "yeah, but it's fine. i needed to get up anyway." he replies as he tilts her chin a bit to give her a sweet kiss on the lips.

"how did you sleep? was it ok?" nini asked.

"it was nice. how can i forget about last night?" ricky responds, making both of them laugh. "so that makes us—" nini cuts him off. "uh i don't know. let's see how this goes first. let's not label anything yet."

"yeah i totally agree with you." ricky replies. "but can i still take you out this weekend? it won't be a date or anything, maybe think of it as a hangout? just us having fun?"

"yeah, as i said, i'd love to go out with you." nini giggles and presses a kiss to his cheek. the moment was interrupted when they heard gracie cry.

"oh my, why don't you go shower first while i take care of gracie?" nini asks as she gets up, picking up her clothes from the floor.

"oh alright." ricky replies.

"also i forgot to say." nini says, crawling back in his side of the bed as she gives him a quick peck, " i like you too."
