MADISON

And there he is, as the sun rises our son is finally coming out of my womb. I kept silent.

I pulled him out of me. And I heard his cries. It was loud, I don't know what to do.

"Ssshh" I cuddled my newborn child. I tore my hospital gown below to use as a blanket for my child.

"Honey, it's going to be okay." I said to him. He stayed quiet for a while.

I continued walking even if I am exhausted. I need to get away from this place.

Then I heard the sound of a car going towards the warehouse.

I tried to stop the car and I saw Helen. Thank God it is Helen.

"Madison, oh my God." she said.

"We need to go to the hospital" I said to her while catching my breath.

"yes, get in" Helen said.

"Where do you think you're going?" Xavier said.

I hurriedly got in the backseat of the car and Helen didn't waste time and drove the car away from Xavier.

Xavier started shooting us. I hid under the seats with my child.

"Helen, are you alright?" I asked her.

"Yes, just keep hiding" she said.

Then I felt the vehicle slowed down.

"He shot the tires" Helen said.

We started zigzaging then the car hit a tree.

"Helen!" I said.

"Run Madison, let me take care of Xavier." she said. I hurriedly went out of the car to try to run away from Xavier.

My child began crying. He cried so loud that I feel he is in pain too.

I run away as fast as I could even if my feet are already bleeding. Then another car came, it is Charles and Luke.

Finally, he is here.

"Madison!" Charles shouted he got out of the car towards me and our child.

He hugged us. He looked at our little one.

"Let's go now," Luke said.

I can no longer walk and Charles carried me while I am holding our son. He carried us through the backseat when I heard someone fired a gun. Xavier's here.

He is holding Helen. I got out of the car and saw Xavier holding Helen then placing his gun to her head.

"Xavier, please don't do this. Our son is waiting for you and me." She said.

"You helped her escape." Xavier replied to her.

"Please, Xavier don't do this" Charles said.

"Hmm, seems like Mr. Billionaire is begging me now" Xavier said.

"Xavier, you can get the money and leave. You don't have to kill anybody" Charles replied.

"I'd like to kill you, but I'd rather kill you all" Xavier said.

Helen began fighting with Xavier with the gun. She tried to take the gun from him, it was really difficult to watch.

Then gun shots are heard. We started hiding. I just hope no ones hurt.

"Margaret!" I shouted.

The next thing I see was her lying on the ground with her chest bleeding.

I started crying.

"Charles, Call 911" I said to him.

I run to Margaret. Not minding Xavier.

"Margaret, help is coming." I said to her. I don't care whether other calls her Helen, she is Margaret, my sister, my loving sister.

Blood started going out of her mouth. She's having a hard time to speak.

"Take of Artie for me please" she said.

"Don't say that, you will take care of him right?" I said to her.

"I don't think I can do that now." She said.

"Please don't leave, we just found each other. You can't leave me like this" I said to her.

"I love you sister" she said then she closed he eyes. No. This can't be happening.

I screamed, I don't want her to go like this.

Then suddenly Luke run to me.

"Madison, get down" he said.

Xavier started firing again. Charles pulls out a gun from the car then shots Xavier's leg.

Xavier began shooting Charles, but Charles shot his other leg too.

The police started arriving. And I became unconscious.

------------------
I woke up in the hospital. I still feel pain. And I can't believe Margaret is gone. I looked around, but Charles wasn't there. But his mother is.

"I heard what happened." she said.

I didn't respond. I kept silent.

She throws an envelope to me.

"That's the money I promised for you to receive after the birth." She said.

I didn't respond again. She continued looking at me.

"You should leave now, while I'm being nice." Mrs. Newman said it to my face.
