Can sat in his truck, in the parking lot of the airport, his mind rushing about, trying to make sense of her decision. He thought she had the same feelings as he had, a connection that was meant to be. He had let his heart become so full with love for her, it almost seemed unreal. There had been no one to ever touch him like she had, she made him want more, more of her. But now she had chose not to come to him. He couldn't stay there without her, if her choice was her traditional ways, he couldn't bear to see her everyday and not be in her life. He wondered if Adin had made her change, had her parents insisted on their marriage, but she had told him the night before, that her parents had supported her decision not to marry Adin. There were so many things he didn't know, but she had refused to tell him, so his head was urging him to run away, like he always did. If things got tough, he always opted to leave, cut his losses and move on.

The taxi pulled up to the cabin, it was dark and his truck wasn't there. Her feelings were on a roller coaster, " Did he not wait for her, where had he gone." Maybe he went to his house, but he promised he would be there, waiting for her. Something must have come up, for him to leave like that, she assumed. She reached for her phone to sent a text, " Can where are you, I'm here at the cabin. Call me.....send. As bad as she hated to, she would wait there, until he came back. The night had turned cold and there wasn't a fire, but there were the blankets, still there from the night before, the ones they had snuggled under. His smell still lingered on them, as she wrapped them around her, he would be back, she was sure of it.

He sat at his gate, waiting for his flight. The next flight out was to Naples, Italy, so he took it. He had a couple of friends there from a previous visit, so he could reconnect with them and take some time to get his head on straight. Sanem had thrown him for a loop, his thoughts were all jumbled up, and his heart ached for the sight of her. He had left his truck in the parking lot, but not knowing when he would return, he decided to leave a message for Emre to retrieve his truck and store it for him, and tell him he was sorry, but he couldn't stay there. He turned his phone on to send the text, and her message popped up. His eyes couldn't believe it, she was at the cabin, waiting for him. Tears formed in his eyes, his throat ached as he held back the tears from running down his face. He had made the mistake of a lifetime, not trusting her, not listening to his heart. Now she was there, and he wasn't. He grabbed his bag and ran out of the airport, " How stupid you have been," he thought, sprinting across the parking lot to his truck. " She came, she's there," He yelled at the top of his lungs. Thankfully the parking lot was pretty much deserted at that time of night, or people might think he was crazy. But he didn't care, she was there,.... and he was crazy, crazy about her.

She checked her phone, no response to her text, " Hmm, maybe he had changed his mind, and his feelings." She thought, as she hugged the blanket tighter around her to stay warm. " What if he decided she wasn't the one for him," so he left to avoid a confrontation," Her mind was racing now, with all types of scenarios. " Could she have been wrong about him, she had been wrong about Adin, and she had know him all her life." She thought, letting her mind doubt what her heart felt. But she stayed, she wanted to give him the chance to return to the cabin, just in case there had been an emergency or something. She had found a comfortable spot and the blanket was keeping her warm, so she watched the stars flicker and twinkle, naming the stars that shined the brightest, to pass the time. She hoped he came soon, she needed to get back home before her parents found out she had snuck out. It didn't take long before she was asleep, and dreaming of Can and how their life would be together.

Can had made it to his truck and was pulling out of the parking lot. His heart was beating fast,          " Please let her stay, until I get there," He prayed. He grabbed his phone and typed, " I'm on my way, my love, just stay there. Be there soon.".........send.  He sped off down the road, thinking only of getting to her as soon as possible. He couldn't believe he was about to leave, If he hadn't wanted to send Emre that text he would have gotten on that plane and flown out of here, with her waiting for him at the cabin. He had to stop running away from every little problem that he had, if the problem was worth having it was worth trying to fix, especially her. He knew from the beginning she had issues, and he pursued her anyway, he knew they were from different cultures, and that she had a fiancé, but his heart knew only that he loved her and would have to be with her.

He finally arrived at the cabin and he hurried up to the door. There she was, wrapped up tight in the blanket, trying to stay warm. He quickly laid down beside her and circled her with his arms,  the heat from his body aroused her, the sudden heat from him caused her to jump, " Can, it's you,  I knew you would come back soon. I was afraid you had given up on me and left." She moaned, snuggling into him, smelling him, feeling him. This was all she needed, he made her feel safe, like no one else. Her parents had to see how much she loved him, because she was never going to leave him.

Should he tell her that he was indeed at the airport just about to do that very thing,..."leave her." Or just keep it to himself, chalking it up to poor judgement, vowing to never do that again. He decided not to tell, but he did decide to think long and hard before making anymore decisions like that again. If he was to lose her, he may never get her back, and that was a risk he wasn't willing to take.

They were lost in each other and their feelings, when Sanem realize the time. She would need to go home soon before daylight or her parents would know she had snuck out. " Can, I'll, need to go soon, but I wanted to tell you, my parents have agreed to meet you. But meeting is all, we can't pressure them about us having a relationship, we will have to go slow, until they accept you. My dad doesn't know you are my boss, so I'm hoping he will be so impressed by you, he won't even care." She said, laughing and scratching her fingers through his beard. He smiled at her, he didn't care what he had to do, he would do it, quite the agency, go back to his photography, what ever it took, he just had to be with her.

Sanem felt the same, " What ever it took, she would do it. She was devoted to him, heart and soul, forever. This was more than just a love.......this was a connection, a connection with the person that she was destined to be with.

" He was her soulmate."..........
