He was early for their meeting but anticipation of seeing her again was just to strong. Aziz entered the office, " Hello, my friend, I hope you are doing well." He asked smiling at the woman behind the desk. She stood quickly, " Aziz, yes I'm fine, and you.....it looks like the years have treated you well." She replied, extending her hand to him. He bypassed the offer and stepped in, giving her a hug, she felt good in his arms, just like she had so many years ago. He smiled, " None could compare to you my dear, I can't tell you how I have missed you." I was so happy to hear that you had returned to Istanbul, and to your job." He said, still holding her hand. She motioned for him to set down, as she did so. " Yes it's good to be back," she said, studying his face with a flame in her heart that still burned for him. " Can I ask, what took you away from here, so many years ago Mihriban, and why you never contacted me." He asked, his eyes filled with tears. She looked away, " Aziz, some things may be best left unanswered, but there hasn't been a day go by that I haven't thought about you." She explained, her heart burning with hurt. She quickly changed the subject, " What brings you here today, Aziz." She asked, composing herself.

The reason had almost left him, until then, " Oh yes, I have a job offer for you, one I hope you won't refuse." He stated, giving her that smile that she remember all to well. " But as you can see,  I already have a job." She replied. Aziz knew from a very reliable source, that she was simply helping out a friend for a short time. He relived in his mind the time she worked at the agency, how she brought everything to life there, including him and his love for her. Her ideas and thoughts had won them several campaigns. And then one day she was gone....and he didn't know why. All he had was the comfort of her friend, Huma, and in a moment of weakness, he accepted it. That was a decision he regretted, all of it but the life of his sons. They were the only thing that keep him going.

He looked at her, " Well, how does this job challenge you," he asked. " I need your expertise in the agency, I hope you would consider it." He said. She smiled, " Why now, from what I have heard, your creative team is one of the best." She stated. He stood, " Well, we have lost a member of our team and we need someone strong in talent to step in for a while." He explained. " And Can, is he not there," she asked.  The fact she knew such details about him and the company, meant she had kept up on him throughout the years, " It seems that Can will be married shortly and will be going back to his photography assignments, that will leave me and Emre, to run the agency."  Mihriban nodded, " I see, so how long to you propose you will need me." She asked, her heart beating hard at the thought of it.  " That's not anything I can answer right now, but the job could be permanent if you would like." He spouted, looking at her with promise. Her eyes sparkled, " Let me think about it for today, and I will let you know tonight." She replied, " Maybe over dinner at my house." She suggested, with a smile. His acceptance was quick, so quick it startled her. She smiled nodding, " I will text you my address, and I will have dinner ready at 7:00. Is that ok?" She asked. He didn't even remember the goodbye, he was so distracted with her, as he took a taxi back to the agency. The ping of  a text made him wake up, she had sent the address, and it looked like she lived outside of town a bit. But it didn't matter, he would go around the world for her, if he had to.

Can was getting nervous, with his dad not back from his meeting yet. It was almost time for him to leave, in order for him to get things ready for this evening. Sanem had already taken off to go home. He was to pick her up at 6:00, so they didn't leave a lot of time for him to prepare. He was finishing up on his emails when his dad walked in, he seemed to be in another world. " Dad, I was starting to worry about you, how did the meeting go." He asked, staring at his dad. Aziz sat down on the sofa, "Well, I think I might have solved our problem," he said, smiling from ear to ear. Can couldn't believe the look he saw on his dads face, " So you found someone to take Derens place for a while." He stated. " No, if I have anything to say about it, it will be permanently, my son, and this time I won't let her go." Can didn't have time to question him much, but he had to know  what he meant. " Ok dad, we will talk later, when I get home tonight,"  he said. Aziz smiled, " I have a date tonight, so don't wait up for me." He said, winking at his son. Can laughed and hurried out to get to the cabin. His thoughts of his dad and the happiness he saw in his face, he knew it had to be the about the woman his dad had told him about years ago, and the undying love he had for her.

He prepared all the food and decorated the table with flowers. He strung lights around the trees, for a romantic mood. " It was perfect," he thought, putting the finishing touches on the decorating. He jumped his truck and took off to pickup Sanem, he had timed it just right, the sun would be setting just as they were done with the dinner, and the lights that were hung, and the music he had planned, would make the night turn to magic. She was waiting just outside the door, with her anticipation running high. She knew this would be a special night. He arrived right on time and whisked her away in his truck. They both beamed with happiness, as he drove to the cabin, he wanted her to love what he had done, and he was pretty sure she would. He had her close her eyes as he walked her up to the cabin, when she opened her eyes, she squealed with delight, " Can, it absolutely beautiful, I love it." She exclaimed, jumping up to hug his neck, clinging there for a moment, so thankful they had found one another. The dinner was fabulous, as always, making her marvel at his abilities. After dinner, he put on some music. The same song they had danced to before, when she came to the cabin for the first time. She smiled as he offered his hand to her for a dance. " I don't mind if I do kind sir." She said, blinking here eyes at him, in a flirtatious way. He brought her in close, so close their foreheads were touching, he breathed in her smell as they swayed to the music. " Sanem, our lives will be like this forever, I have such a desire for you, I know it will ever change. I want to always touch you, smell you, I want to be the only one for you." He whispered in her ear. She held her breath, " Can, there will never be anyone else, I'm forever yours, my soul is connected to yours, and will be until the day I die." She said snuggling her head down on his shoulder.

It was late, and he had promised to bring her home at a respectable hour, so he locked up the cabin and they started the drive to her house. Each mile closer to her house, made them sad, it meant another goodnight, the thing they dreaded the most. He stopped at her door, he slide over next to her, " Sanem, tomorrow will be the beginning of our life together, I don't want anything to ruin or dampen that day. She smiled, " No Can, we won't allow that to happen, I promise you. I have made up my mind, if they don't give us their blessing, we will go on with our plans." She said, with determination, " With or without my parents approval, we will marry and start our adventure together." She kissed him on the lips, not caring if they were seen or not.

" Are you sure my love,"  Can asked, with tears forming In his eyes....

"Yes, I'm sure, you will not leave here alone...I will always be by your side....
