Deren kept to herself in her office most of the morning, not even holding a morning meeting. The staff was talking about her strange behavior, and  wondered if it was due to Sanem and Mr. Can.  By lunch time Aziz had meet with a new client and Can had held a creative meeting, in which Deren offered no input at all, she definitely wasn't herself. Sanem was managing to stay out of her way, but she couldn't escape her icy glares, as she went about her morning duties. Aziz had made plans for the afternoon, and would be out of the office, so Can and Sanem took a early lunch and she took him to her special place. He was excited to see the place that had been her home away from home as a child. They parked, and walked down the long drive, by the look on Sanem's face, he knew she was just as excited to show it to him. As the huge house came into view, he was in awe of it, " Wow Sanem, this place is huge." He exclaimed, " You could get lost in there." He said walking up to the massive door. She smiled, " No, it's beautiful, Just perfect." she replied, " This is the most beautiful place in Istanbul," She stated, spreading out her arms, and twirling around and  around in the entryway. He smiled, his heart filled with love for her, as he watched her transform to that child again, as she introduced him to each room in the huge house.

Deren had a decision to make, but it was extremely hard. Azizbey had been like a father to her for many years, and it would be hard to leave him. But this didn't seem like the place for her anymore. Her heart had been bruised and battered over the years, watching Can come and go with Polen always by his side. She had been so happy went she found out he had broke it off with her, but then Sanem came to work there. Even if they did leave the agency, that meant they were married and they would be back from time to time, and she would be parading thru, hanging on Cans arm. She didn't think she could take it. She had to face the fact that Can would never be hers. But with Can leaving, it also meant that Azizbey would need her more than ever, just to keep control of everything.

" This house is amazing," she said, " I wish I could have seen it in its former state, when it was vibrant and happy with a big family roaming through it." She spouted, as she sat at the window, looking out across the grounds. Her face was glowing, and he couldn't stop staring at her.  Such a vision of loveliness, he thought, as he too was getting caught up in the aura of the mansion.     "As a child, I dreamt of one day buying this place and turning it into a writing studio. A place for the imagination to go wild, and each room would be filled with a story." Her eyes danced with happiness. " But as the years went by, my dreams changed, I only wanted to be here with the person that held my heart and soul, the man I was born to love." She said, reaching for his hand. " I never even knew it before, but I think I have dreamed of you my whole life," she whispered, moving up close to him, " I didn't realize that it was you that was always in my head, not until I came here after Adin showed me the picture of you and Polen." She said, standing on her tiptoes to stare into his eyes. He was in a trance as she spoke, she was so mesmerizing with what she was saying. His heart was beating like a drum, so loud, he thought she must be able to hear it. In seconds her lips found his, demanding him to respond, and he did, with a force that took her by surprise. They broke the hold and stared at each other, " Can maybe we should go, before we go to far." She spoke, hating each word she said. He nodded, " Your right, we will save this for another place and another time, very soon." He replied, brushing his lips against her neck and sucking in her smell. She felt her heart stop, and her breath was gone, he could destroy her with a single touch. She sighed, " How will I be able to wait, for him," she thought, " even a few weeks will be to long."

They left the house, on their way back to the office. Both of them felt so happy, eager to start their lives together. She held his hand as he drove, " Can, I want a big house like that when we come back," she spoke, leaning her head back, and looking into space. " Something that's big, but simple, with lots of room for our children," Oh,....how many kids do you want?" She asked, her eyes growing wide. Can didn't hesitate, " I want at least three, maybe four, what do you think." He asked. She smiled, " Yes, that's what I thought too," she said, glad their minds thought alike. How had she lived without him, she thought. This had been the best day, she was ready to be whisked away to an exotic hideaway with him, to be free to love him as her husband. Just one more day to wait until the engagement proposal, then a wedding, how perfect.

Emre met Can at the office door, " Can we need to talk, close the door." He said. The look from Emre told Sanem he wanted to be alone with Can, so she quickly left, wondering what he had to say. Can gave Emre a look, " What Emre, is it something that Sanem can't hear, that was rude." He said. Emre sat down, " Deren is thinking of leaving the agency, in fact she has started looking for other places." He said. Can hung his head, " Emre, I can't help what she does, if she feels she has to leave, then she will leave." What do you want me to do?" He asked, shrugging his shoulders. Emre leaned towards Can, " Abi, she is in love with you and has been for years, don't you feel any obligation to her feelings." He said. Can shook his head, " No, Emre I don't, I never gave her any reason to think there would be anything between us." He stated, " in fact, I never even knew she had feelings for me until Sanem pointed it out to me. But Sanem and I are leaving the company anyway, so there's really no reason for her to leave." He said. " I'll talk to her if you want me to." Can replied. Emre shook his head, " No that's probably not a good idea, it might cause more problems. But I just know when you leave, we will need her here more than ever."

Sanem was aware of Derens actions that day and had a feeling that's what Emre wanted to talk to Can about. She took a cup of fresh coffee and went to Ms. Derens door, she knocked on the door and waited for her to  motion her in. Deren stared at her for a second, then waved her in,       " Yes Sanem, what can I do for you?" She asked, keeping her eyes down. Sanem sat the coffee on her desk, " I thought you might like a fresh cup of coffee, while we have a talk." She said with demand in her voice. Derens eyes darted up to meet Sanem's, " What kind of talk should we have," she said, " I think it's past that, don't you."  Sanem sat down, " Maybe, but I think we should try to solve this, don't you."

Sanem looked at her, with a confidence that made Deren jealous.

" Ms. Deren, I know your feelings that you have for Can, and I understand.....

" But I won't let you drive a wedge between Can and his family.......
