"I'm hungryyy!" Caitlin winged. "In my black backpack are some snacks and drinks. "What's in the blue one?" She asked getting my black backpack. "Not much, just don't drop it!" I said in a serious tone. Caitlin just shrugged and took out a Rocky Road s'mores bar out. "When did you get these?" She asked with wide eyes. I laughed, "on the way to yours, I knew you loved them." She smiled and done a little squeal. "BEST FRIEND EVER!" I just laughed. It was getting late, but we were still at least 10 miles from the nearest motel. I saw a diner and pulled into it. I grabbed my purse and got out the car. Both me and Caitlin stretched. "Never said, your very blue today." I looked down at my self as Caitlin said it. I just shrugged. We walked into the almost-empty-diner. We found a booth near the window. "Hey, dolls!" A waitress in her 50's came over. "What can I get you two girls tonight?" We had a quick look at the menu, "I'll have a cheese burger, fries and salad on the side with a hot chocolate with whipped creme please?" I asked nicely. "And can I have a chicken wrap and fries, no salad. With a coffee please?" The lady, whose name tag read, Greta, smiled. "Comin' right up dears." When she was gone I was about to talk to Caitlin when my phone rang. I looked down at it before answering.

C- Hello?
X- Hey baby, where are you!
C- Well long story short me and Caitlin decided to go on a little road trip.
I heard a gasp on his end, then a 'phew' sound.
X- Why didn't you tell me, where are you, I'll meet you there.
C- You don't have to, baby. I was hoping to spend some girlie time with Caitlin.
X- that's fine beautiful. Ring me when you get to a motel or something.
C-I will baby, I love you!
I heard Caitlin make a gag noise so I just put my finger up to her.
X- I love you more.
C-bye baby
X- bye gorgeous.

With that I hung up as our food and drinks came out. As we were eating me and Caitlin sat in silence. It was nice. "Thank you for coming Caitlin!" She smiled. "How could I not, you've been through so much and with finals coming up in a few months. We just needed a break!" I laughed and nodded. "Amen to that!" We laughed. "God, I'm going to fail! So badly." I thought aloud. Caitlin shook her head. "Your not! You have me and xavier. Cheerleading has been cancelled all week. Plus mr reeves refuses to finish the work on Romeo and Juliet." My mouth was wide open. "I swear chyna! Your mr Reeves' favourite!" I laughed. "No I actually enjoy the lessons." I defended. She just shook her head. "Anyways school has been a total bore! "You were in one day!" I laughed. "Exactly! That's all it takes." She dramatised. I laughed. As we finished Greta came back over. "You girlies finished?" We nodded and she placed the check down. I left a 50$ bill. Our meals only came down to $27.89, Greta stood mouth agape. "Keep the change." I said getting up. "I-I can't that's over 20 bucks! For a tip," she was about to give the money over. "I don't care, keep it for yourself." I said with a smile. I was shocked when I was pulled into a bear hug from her. "Thank you, you've made a old li'tle lady happy." She said with a smile. "I'm glad. Have a good week." I shouted on my way out the door. "Want me to drive till the next motel?" I nodded and threw her the keys. She was a better night driver than me anyways. I grabbed my blue back pack and took out my iPad. "So that's what was in there?" I laughed, "yes, and my iPod, laptop and all the chargers. Along with my bathroom things." As we got on the highway I started playing a game called, crossy road.
An hour passed before we pulled into a motel. I got put and went into the reception. There was an old man sitting behind the desk. "Hello, I was hoping you had a twin room free for the night?" He smiled. "Yes, that's $150.78 please?" I got my credit card out and payed for the room. "Thank you." He smiled and gave me the key. I went to the car to get my stuff, Caitlin grabbed hers and we went to our room. "What room?" Caitlin asked. "105." I answered. She nodded before she abruptly stopped. "Here we are." She exclaimed. We went in to see two double beds with a towel animal each, sitting on the ends. On one bed was an elephant and another was a flamingo. "Elephant!" I yelled out. Caitlin huffed and set her stuff on the bed which had the flamingo. I put my phone and iPad on charge before getting my laptop. I turned my wifi on and got the free internet. "Your mom sent me all the work I missed out on Monday." I said confused. "Yeah, I know. I may or may not have slipped about your dad to her, but until the hospital, she said she was keeping it a secret." I huffed and just nodded. And started my maths and English home work. By 10pm I had finished all work and started to read on wattpad. I was reading a Justin Bieber fanfic called Bullied. (A'N this is a real book on here made by Counting_Stars- , go read it) It was so good. I heard a yawn from Caitlin. "I'm gonna shower, brush my teeth and go bed," she said going into the bathroom. I nodded and put everything away. I got my pajamas out if my duffel bag, which was a t-shirt that said 'sleep is my drug, my beds my dealer and my alarm clock is the police'. With bottoms that had teddy bears on. When Caitlin came out, I went in and brushed my teeth. I got into bed, switched off the light before, "good night chyna, love ya" I smiled. "Love ya to, night." With that I drifted off into a dreamless sleep.
