Standing in the student section, I watched as Midoriya won his match against the purple-haired guy. I think Present Mic said his name was Shinsou. I watched as they took Midoriya to the ER for the two fingers he had broken during that match.
I still wonder how his quirk works. It seems fairly close to All Might's, but in a way, it isn't!
Midoriya was acting weird in the first part, but thank goodness he snapped out of his trance. To be honest, I'm suprised that Shinsou isn't in the hero course! He has a lot of potential and deserves to have a spot in the class.
Finally, it was Sho's turn in the tournament. He was going against Sero.
"So (Y/N), who do you think will win?" Ochaco asked as she turned to me.
"I'll bet my entire fortune that Sho will win this one!" I smiled.
"Wah!! Really??"
"Yep!"
"Ooh, this is gonna be good!" she replied rubbing her hands together.
I laughed at her actions, and calmed down once I looked back at the arena.
"There you are Deku!" Ochaco yelled as she turned behind her, "you did good!"
"Congrats on winning," I smiled.
"Come on down here!" Iida said pointing to a seat next to him and Tokoyami, "we saved a seat for you!"
"Oh! Thanks guys!" Midoriya smiled softly.
Flames started to erupt from the size of the arena, signifying the next round was about to start! The crowds cheered and roared at the sight, and excitedly waited for the announcement of the next players.
"Enough standing around!" Present Mic yelled, "now welcome to the ring, OUR NEXT PLAYERS!!!"
On the large screen on the top of the stadium, were pictures of Sho and Sero.
"He's got skills, but at the expense of some really creepy lookin' elbows! From the hero course, it's Hanta Sero!!!!"
"That was uncalled for..." Sero muttered.
"VERSUS! An early front runner in the competition who's way too strong for his own good, someone who rightfully got into the hero course based on recommendations, it's Shoto Todoroki!!!"
"Wooh! You go Shoto!" I cheered.
"Ahhh, youth!" Ochaco smiled as she put her chin on her hand and smiled.
"Oh whatever!" I smiled as I rolled my eyes.
I looked at Sho just one last before the match started, but instead of having a focused look from the soba I gave him earlier, he had this very...frustrated and angry look about him...It worried me, but I just hope, that everything goes well.
"AND NOW! FOR THE SECOND MATCH OF THE FINALS!!!"
"Well...I don't really feel like I can win this fight," Sero sighed as he stretched his neck, "but man, I DON'T FEEL LIKE LOSING EITHER!"
Immediately, tape came out of Sero's elbows and wrapped around Sho quickly and he started to swing him quickly out of bounds!
"That attack is to throw him out of bounds!!" Present Mic commented, "a brilliant surprise opening from the underdog! Way to start off strong Sero!"
"Apologies..." Todoroki said with darkness looming over his voice.
"Oh no..." I muttered wide-eyed.
In the blink of an eye, Sho covered Sero in ice, but there was more. An enormous spike of ice also went into the audience and went out of the stadium. It was directed towards the student section we were left there frozen and wide-eyed at the ice that nearly hit us from his attack.
