Y/N woke up late the next day, alone. Yawning, she stretched, the bones in her back cracking lightly.
Checking her phone, she saw the time- 12:24.
'I guess North wanted to let me sleep,' she thought, getting up and dressed. Last night had been draining for all of them.
Straightening her white collar, she took the elevator downstairs. As soon as the doors opened, she was greeted by North, yelling at China.
"Stop inviting people here without asking me!" he exclaimed angrily, glaring up at the other country. "I have fighter jets everywhere for a reason!"
"Mm," China hummed. "Unfortunate."
"And what if I don't let him in?" North growled. "What then?"
"I think you'll find that 'he-'" China made finger quotes around the word. "-Doesn't let anything stop 'him.'"
"Stop doing that with your fingers," North growled, swatting at the other country's hand. "I don't know what that means."
China smiled, looking past the angry North Korean at Y/N. "Your girlfriend is up."
North whirled around, before seeming to catch himself, schooling his face into a less annoyed expression. "Good morning." He still sounded irritated, though his eye had softened, looking at her.
"Good morning," Y/N said, walking to his side. She looked at China warily, but the country didn't even spare a glance for her. "Are we, um, having another guest?"
"Unfortunately," North growled. "Because someone doesn't ask me permission before inviting people into my home."
China clucked his tongue. "Where's your spirit of Communism, North?" He laid a hand on the other country's shoulder. "Our home."
North shrugged him off. "You're one to talk."
"Are they arguing again?" CCCP asked, emerging from the kitchen behind them.
"No," China and North said simultaneously.
Y/N nodded at him. "Yes."
"Are you still angry at China for not informing us about our visitor?" The large country ruffled Y/N's hair as he approached them, an action that took the girl by surprise.
"I just want him to communicate with us," North snapped, glaring at the Chinese Countryhuman. "It's annoying to not know things that are happening in my own country."
China's phone dinged. "Well, in an effort to communicate, she's here."
"She?" North and CCCP chorused.
China smiled, and the door behind him slammed open, someone marching into the high-rise, escorted by a harried looking Hwang.
"What's up, comrades?" a curvy girl country asked, grinning. "It's me- finally here."
Y/N blinked, recognising the country's flag- red with a yellow star. But the body was... different.
North and CCCP looked slightly stunned as Vietnam strode across the room, confidently hugging the taller one.
"I'm so glad that you're back, Cha," she said. "I missed you."
"Да," CCCP said, still looking surprised. He gingerly patted her back. "It is good to see you again, too, s- daughter."
