"South Africa still won't join me," China informed their group, gathered around the war table. "Despite the fact that she owes me money, which I find quite disrespectful."
"Who knew most of BRICS was run by fascists?" Russia muttered.
"That was you, too, not that long ago," China reminded him.
"Absolutely everyone knew that most of you were fascists," North growled. "Can we get back on topic?"
Y/N swung her feet idly, trying to read 'The Sinful American Aggressor's Imperialism of Korea.'
The countries had been talking in circles for several minutes. There wasn't much that they could do right now, apparently- most of their troops were occupied in either defending their own borders, or attacking other's. Y/N thought that they might just feel like they needed to be doing something, resulting in this war talk.
"Venezuela has not contacted me for several days," CCCP said. "I believe that he is alive, but I have not heard from him. China? Have you?"
China shook his head. "I sold his revolutionaries some arms, but I didn't talk with him. None of his people have seen him, either."
North sighed irritably. "Why is everyone in China's coalition unreliable?"
"Rude." The Chinese country didn't seem put off, though. "Somalia has been very reliable."
"Somalia is drowning," Nipponia pointed out.
"And how are you doing?" China smiled.
"Also still drowning." The cat-girl was unfazed. "Which is why I would like to hurry up and win this war, so we can get started on climate change."
"If we win this, I am going to build a large fan to blow all of Beijing's pollution to Tokyo."
"Joke's on you- because of wind patterns, it would only reach Hiroshima Prefecture at most."
"How big is the fan going to be?" Russia asked, sounding genuinely interested.
"I've had enough of this." North marched over to Y/N, pulling her out of her chair, much to her surprise.
"North, wait," China called. "The fan would probably effect the Korean Peninsula, too."
"Да, we need your input on this, comrade."
Nipponia slugged her partner in the shoulder. "Stop supporting this."
"Go," CCCP said kindly. "This conversation has stagnated for now."
"Where are we going?" Y/N asked, getting pulled out the door.
"I'm taking you on our date." North slammed the door shut on Russia and Nipponia's 'Oooo's.'
Y/N went to her old room to get dressed, while North went to their shared one.
She settled for a modest (F/C) belted dress over black leggings. Instead of her white jacket, she took a lighter grey coat. The day had dawned less cold than those previously.
North was outside her room when she opened the door, leaning against the wall with his hands in his pockets. He was dressed in a dark blue button-down and crisp black trousers.
"Let's get out of here before the idiots come after us."
"Admit it- they're your friends," she teased.
