I was dropping some books in my locker when Annie rushed up to me and hugged me from behind
“bellaaaaaa...I missed you so much” Looking around I noticed that other students were staring at us
Weirdly
“Annie, keep your voice low ” I uttered
“opss!!, sorry ”she apologized realizing instantly
“ was my voice loud?” she asked in a low-pitch voice
“Yeah” I chuckled, sometimes I wondered how the silly best friend of mine has lots of friends compared to me
“How are you feeling?” she asked
“better, as you can see ” I smiled at her
Putting my hands around her, I teased her “You sure that you miss me”
“you bet... Jane and her friends made my day a nightmare, always talking about the party they were planning, I got so tired that I had to excuse myself when we were having lunch” she sulked
“ at least they aren't boring like me” I comforted her, shutting my locker
“Hey... that reminds me, you are going to Jane's party” she reminded me
“I'm not going ” I decided
“Bella, you promised me" she frowned, nipping the lower part of her lips subconsciously
“ I can't go, I don't fit into anything involving party...I'm not the party type ” I explained, pleading with my eyes
“What are you two still doing in the corridor, off to class now" Mr Charles, our history teacher commanded
“We are going to talk about this later and you are not running away from it,” Annie said
“ you baffoon, the both of you detention, come to my office immediately ” he declared to some students he caught as we scrambled for the next lesson...

“ well, that's all for today's lesson, see you next class” Mrs Brown announced packing her books from the table.
“ The math was hectic” Annie yawned as she closed her book
“yeah...kind of” I replied to her, turning to her
Folding her hands, I could feel her eyes staring dagger at me “ I haven't forgotten our last discussion you know.....I am still angry ”
“I can't, I am sorry if I told you I would go” I apologized shaking my head
“ Hey, what are the both of you discussing” I became stiff upon hearing the voice
“hi” Annie smiled at him
“ Hello, why do I feel both of you are having some serious disagreement” Josh inquired turning his gaze from left to right
“Bella refused to go to the party as she promised” Annie explained
“ I already apologized, you know I am not the party type” I glared at her
“ohhhh...heard about it ” he recalled, touching his jaw
“You were invited,” Annie asked.
shrugging his shoulder, he replied “Yeah...kind of”
“ I was not invited, why make it a big deal, I don't think they want someone like me at their party” I wasn't going no matter how hard she tried
“ you are coming Bella...just come for this and I won't force you for any other one, I just want you to experience life once” she insisted
“little pumpkin... I am not forcing you to come, I believe that everyone's decision is up to them but like Annie said she doesn't want you to stay out from the rest of the world, I will be there in case anything happens and if you don't like it, you can leave ” he looked into my eyes as he assured me.
