*Asher's POV*

I am once again late for class. As I am rushing to my locker I notice a clock above another classroom. "One minute, I can make it!" I pull out my math book and limited edition TK skateboard and wheel-it to class. "Excuse me, pardon me, out of the way, c'mon MOVE IT!" I holler at the lollygagers in the hallways, like, don't these people have classes? Geez! I finally reach my class at the end of the hall and step in the door-- RIIIIING "Looks like I'm just in time Ms. Clemin" I give her a smile as she stands in front of me with a scowl that could scare the devil himself, then that smile fades away and I hurry to my seat, which is in the second row of desks, right in front of my best friend.

"Late again Wryly" Ravyn shakes her head. "You really need to get up earlier."

"Says the girl who sleeps in til 12 on Saturdays. Ouch! Don't hit me!"

"Don't talk about me! You know I'm not a morning person."

"Then why aren't you late?" I ask this but I already know the answer. It's because she has Amethyst for a sister. Like, I swear this girl gets up as soon as the sun comes out and is out like a light when it sets.

"Because, Amethyst refuses to let me be late, you know how she gets in the morning." Ravyn shivers at the thought of Amethyst waking her up out of her sleep in the morning. If there is one thing Ravyn loves, its sleeping during the day, I have no idea why, maybe it's just another one of her perfect flaws.

"Are you ready?"

"Fire drill! Ouch! Quit abusing me!"

"No! idiot, for the test."

Shit.

Amethyst's POV

I'm sitting in the front row of class and I look back to see a slightly worried look on my sister's face and Asher repeatedly banging his head on the desk saying "I'm so screwed, I'm so screwed, I'm fucking screwed!" I shake my head and turn around, weirdos. I look to my left and see Lolita Lawrence, the beautiful bright-skinned, rich girl from North Bridge. She comes from one line of beauty-rich women and one line of expert businessmen. She transferred last year from the most prestigious private school in Milky Way, The Zodiac Academy. She's bright and bubbly, and actually pretty fun to hang out with. Everyone stereotyped her as a snoody rich girl who decided to give public school a chance of making AYP. Not that we needed it, we're pretty advanced here at Celestial Park High School, I decided I would be the one to show her around and now she's immensely popular! Everyone wants a chance to date the "new good girl" but she refuses everyone who approaches her, or as she likes to call them "suitors". I like Lolita, she's just like me in a lot if ways. Ravyn and I are twins but we have many differences....but of course I love her.

"Alright students, it's test time. Pencils out, phones away."

At lunch in the courtyard

Ravyn's POV

"Nrrgggaaah!" Asher was once again whining at his whooping 57% on his test, WTF? "Why the hell do we study if you're not gonna look over the information!?"

"I'm sorry! I tried to but I couldn't remember the reference page you showed me!"

"That was the first thing I showed you Asher! Were you listening to me at all?"

"Yes! Well, I thought I was...." Asher said while scratching the back of his head.

"You're so distracted..." I plobbed a green grape into my mouth. "...is it your mom?" I asked this hesitantly, but its only me and him here. I saw Amethyst and Lolita on the other side of the courtyard earlier. I hope things are okay with Ainslie. She's been a little...desperate lately and that doesn't make things any easier on Asher. He's barely passing Math! I wanted to help, but it seems like I'm making it worse. I do that a lot. Hmm.. IS ASHER IGNORING ME?
