{31} This is Insane

We were still in the office talking when the door flung open.

"Taehyung! You need to see this!" Namjoon screamed. It looked like he found something extremely important.

Taehyung rushed out and I followed. Jimin was staring at his laptop with full concentration biting his nails. All of us gathered behind him to know what happened.

"Look at this guys. We found him." He played the video in his laptop and once the view was clear he paused it.

"We found his car's number plate." He pointed towards the car.

"Last night he had parked his car beside this river before he attacked you Areum." He said turning to me.

"We then also found the same car at the city library. I think he visits every alternate Thursdays.." Jimin continued.

"But. Why would he go to a library?" I asked confused.

"Come to think of it. Libraries are a quiet place. Does he meet up with someone there?" Namjoon suggested.

"Remember when Areum's sister was kidnapped? There were signs of two people. Could it be..." Taehyung left the last part to our imaginations.

"Possible." Jimin sighed looking back at the screen.

"We should go there and check the registers." Namjoon said putting on his coat.

"Now?" Taehyung asked.

"Well today is a Tuesday. If we find something suspicious we would have another day to sketch out a plan." Namjoon explained and the two boys nodded.

"Can I come with you?" I asked.

"No it's dange-" Taehyung started but Namjoon cut him off.

"We'll need her there. She could be helpful." Namjoon looked at Taehyung and Taehyung agreed hesitantly.

'But this is strange. Taehyung knows my real name. But no one else? Or are they still acting?'

We got into Jimin's car. Jimin in the driver's seat, Taehyung next to him and Namjoon and I at the back.

We reached there in a few minutes. It was a big building for a library to be honest. But we went inside anyway.

"We would like to check the registers please. We are in search of someone." Taehyung said to the lady in the reception showing her his ID.

"I'm sorry sir. But we cannot disclose any personal information about any of the members." She protested.

"Then let me meet your manager."

"H-he's not here. He went abroad for an important business deal." She stuttered.

"Oops you leaked personal info about your manager. Now give us the files before we take this any further." Taehyung leaned on the desk making the lady more nervous.

The lady hesitantly took out the recent records from underneath the table and Taehyung snatched it from her. We all jumped in to have a look at it.

"We were right. He does come every other Thursday." Taehyung looked up at Jimin and then Namjoon."

"But his name is Lee Tae Hoon. He couldn't possibly lie about his name all my life right?" I asked in a low voice.

"I'm sorry but I think you're right. He fooled you all this time." Namjoon said patting my head.

'He's a monster.'

"What about the the other guy?" Jimin asked.

They began to search for a name which occured on the same date as dad. And there it was.

'Choi Na Ye.'

We all looked at each other surprised.
"It wasn't a man but a woman?" Jimin asked.

"And that too...Choi Hyun Sik's wife Choi Na Ye? So this is whom she had an affair with? Her husband's killer?" Namjoon cover his mouth in shock.

"Woah. This is a big one." Taehyung said looking at me.

"I guess we need to a have a little chat with the lady." Jimin said smirking.

'This is unbelievable. She killed her own husband? She killed her childern's father. Just for another man?' I felt ashamed to be a part of all this. After all I was the one who killed him.

Taehyung and I returned to the office while Namjoon and Jimin went for the interrogation.

"This is insane. How can he be such a monster?" I asked looking at all the papers and files laying on the table while Taehyung sat across from me sunk in the pages as well.

"Hey look!" Taehyung suddenly said surprised and handed me a page. My eyes widened at the information. This can't be real.

"Dad was in partnership with Choi Hyun Sik sharing 40% of the profit shares?!" I looked dumbfounded at Taehyung.

Y'know Accounts doesn't only make one a CA but also a writer hehe. Now you see how much I've been into assignments I'm finally studying. Oh well...Enjoyy~
