{22} I'll Make It Up To You

The next day I got discharged from the hospital. Luckily, I didn't get kidnapped by dad as expected. But something far worse happened.

Taehyung and Jimin didn't move an inch all night. They stayed right there beside me. Not that I'm complaining but they were only making it awkward for themselves. I was sound asleep. But when I woke up Jimin wasn't there anymore. Taehyung said something came up so he had to go home.

Anyway, it's time to go home. I changed into my clothes. The hospital gown was disgusting! I felt more like myself when I was in my clothes finally.

"Time to go home who's excited?" Taehyung came in the room running like an excited kid.

"You're being silly again." I said.

"Oh come on I know you like it!" He smiled and helped me up.

"I only drowned I didn't break my leg." His cheerful expression dropped immediately when I said that.

"Let's go home." He said slowly. I could tell he doesn't like talking about it already.

"Let me make it up to you for that day." He said focusef on the road while driving.

"Which day?" I asked.

"Don't tell me you got amnesia now!" He laughed while I only gave him a confused look.

"Y'know that day in the hospital. We had an arguement and I stole you from Jimin and you dropped your ice cream?" He reminded.

"Oh yeah. How exactly are you gonna make it up to me?"

He smirked. "You'll see." I already had a bad feeling about this.

We reached his apartment. I was about to open the door to get out when he stopped me.

"Wait wait wait! I'll help you!" He said exiting the car and coming around to my side and opened the door.

"Is this how you're ganna make it up?" I asked.

"Nope." He said suddenly sliding his long arms around me. He picked me up, closed the door to the car by kicking it and carried me all the way to the fifth floor (although he used the elevator.)

"Why do you have to carry me?" I asked curiously.

"You're still sick. And you're gonna stay in bed all week! That means I'm gonna have to take care of doll." He  said happily.

'It's been a while since he has called me that. To be honest I never realised but I missed it. I missed him calling me doll.' I also didn't realise that I was staring at him.

"Stop staring at me doll I know I'm irresistable." He joked.

"Yeah. Irresistably annoying!" I cussed.

He gave me a blank look and plopped me on the bed. Then he got in as well.
"What the- you didn't even freshen up!" I scolded.

"I'm as fresh as a daisy!" He flirted.

"Go get a shower first!" I kicked him out of bed. What the hell is wrong with him?

'No. I can't get my hopes up. I cant let him get so close to me like this. He doesn't even know who I really am. I can't hurt him. I have to stop giving him all the attention. I need to push him away. But how will I handle myself then? I'm so used to him, to his touch, his gentle voice and that beautiful smile?' Thinking of his smile made me smile as well.

"I see you're daydreaming about me?" He asked hiding behind the door frame only his head sticking out.

"Nope. I was daydreaming about Jimin. He's so nice." I smiled.

"WhAT?!" He jumped out of his hiding spot. He only had a towel wrapped around his waist. He. Was. Naked.

"OH MY GOD TAE GO PUT ON SOME CLOTHES!" I screamed hiding my face in my palm.

He also looked down at himself and facepalmed.

Later that night we had a lot of fun. I totally forgot my decision of staying away from him and ended up cuddling on the couch with a single blanket covering both of us, while we were watching a horror movie.

I couldn't believe how much of a scaredy cat he was. He would shut his eyes close each time he predicted a jumpscare but still got fightened just by the sound. I would laugh so hard at him and he would get flustered each time.

"It feels like we're a couple now." I was still concentrating on the movie when his words caught me completely off gaurd.

"W-what do you mean?" I asked looking at him. He was smiling.

"Areum there's something I need to tell you..." he hesitated to speak.

BTW did you watch the anime 'Amnesia'? I watched it when I was around 14 years old and I rewatched it today. Uwu I'm nostalgic. Watch it if you haven't it's reeeaaaaalllyyyyy good. (Look at me sending you off to other shows and anime while you were reading my story hehe sowwy.) Also did you look at the number of reads? I am truely SHOOKED right now. Thank youuuu.
