{2} This Is A Murder!!

"Erm...I love watching detective movies and I want to be one myself. I-I have also given a test on the same and the results are yet to be out! So before that i just want to explore the field and wanna learn more. Oh and also i could be of some help if you need it!" I said continuously in one breath, although it was all a lie.

He stared at me completely stunned but decided to go with it. "Fine I'll take you there since we are in the same field. But don't forget the deal." He winked and got inside his car.

'Fool'

I quickly got into the passenger's seat as well and he drove off.

"What's your name miss to-be-detective?" He asked.

"H-huh? It's Y/n--- umm..I mean I'm Areum. Park Areum."

"Im Kim Taehyung, its nice to meet you."

He turned his face towards the road  again and we had a silent 10 minutes ride.

'He's hot btw.'

When we reached the crime seen, i was overwhelmed with happiness. It looked so professional! The entrance to the room was sealed with yellow tapes which read 'CAUTION' all over them.

"You're the first person I've met who is so happy at someone's death." The voice came from beside me.

"Haven't you caught any criminals?" I asked confidently.

"Of course I have. Why?" He asked turning to me.

"Well, if you have met criminals you must know they are the happiest at someone's death. Or why would they kill?"

He said turning his head back to the scene,"Well they are more afraid when we catch hold of those bastards."

'Ouch'

I laughed,"haha! You got a point!"

"Sir! You're here!" A girl came rushing out of the scene when she saw her 'SIR' but stopped when she noticed me.

"Sir we can't allow friends here it's confidential." She said eyeing me. Probably feeling jealous to see her 'SIR' with another girl.

"Ahh don't worry! She's here to help. Lets go Y/n." He said without a care in the world.

I smirked at her when the hot officer took me in with him. What was his name again? Tae- whatever.

The dead man was neatly placed on a sheet of plastic his wounds probably cleaned up. There was still blood left everywhere and people walked from one corner to other looking and picking up any and every evidence found.

"Any progress?" He asked a man.

"Yes sir. We have only got the reports of his background so far. He was just another man working for the dasaeng company. He has 3 kids and his wife. They had many family problems and the man often used to stay here."

"So this lodge is his hideout or something?"

"Yes sir. This lodge was on rent and he started meeting drug dealers when his company went bankrupted. It seems that he was last seen here with a prostitute that is just a few minutes ago." He ended. So they don't know anything yet. How funny.

"So the possibilities are the prostitute which you talk about is either the victim or the culprit."

"Sir! Sir i know something!" A young guy came rushing towards the officer. Shit. It looks like he knows something important.

"Calm down yunjae, tell me what do you know." Taehyung said in a calm voice.

"Sir! I'm sure! This is not suicide its a murder!" He screamed in excitement.

The three of us looked dumbfounded at him. I turned my head to both the man and Taehyung one by one. They both looked so pissed.

"Umm...sorry to interrupt but its obviously a murder didn't you guys know?" I spoke raising my hand innocently like a kid clearing doubts from her seniors.

Taehyung took me away from the scene after ordering the man to investigate further.

"He's the manager's son. A complete scum. The manager wants him to stick with us to learn. Just like you, this is new to him as well. Pease don't speak without thinking in front of him as it could get us all into trouble." He explained.

"Oh okay. So what next? What are you thinking?" I asked curiously, changing the topic.

"Hm? Oh well, we have to look for the prostitute now. She knows something for sure."

"But what if she doesnt?"

"What do you mean?" He asked looking at me.

"I mean it could have happened after she left. Maybe someone could have come after she left or maybe someone was already hiding inside."

"You almost sound like you are defending the prostitute. But you got a point there." He said.

"W-well, I'm just saying." I said nervously looking away. Shit i almost got into trouble there. Why do you have to speak so much Y/n?! I scolded myself.

I know its hard to see Taehyung being such a serious and responsible officer but bare with me! A police officer cannot go goofing around in crime scene! Enjoyy💕
