{33} They're Here

The next day went by in a blink of an eye. We sketched out a perfect plan to catch him red handed. The plan was perfect and on point. All that was left was execution. And I was beyond terrified.

"Can't sleep?" Taehyung joined me in the balcony and put a blanket around me hugging me from behind.

"I can't believe this is finally happening." I said in a low voice.

"This is the moment you have been waiting for all your life Y/n. Don't let it slip. He must get punished for his sins." He turned me by my shoulders so that I was facing him.

"But then...what about me?" I asked looking down.

"You could stay with me just like this. Or you could take up a job and start a life of your own. I'll always support you!" He cheered.

"Not that silly." I smiled and he looked at me in confusion.

"Then what?" He asked.

"I must get punished as well. I'm no less. I have committed enough sins myself." I finally looked at him. He was shocked, so not expecting for what I just said.

"It wasn't your fault. I'm sure the court would listen." He said slowly after a long pause. I gave him a big bright smile to cheer him up.

"Don't worry I'll be fine. Let's go to bed tomorrow is a big day!" I pulled him with me to the room.

"Jimin where are the files bring them quick!" Taehyung ordered shouting from his office and Jimin came running in. I was sitting with Namjoon arranging all the evidence and other files for the case while Taehyung and Jimin ran in and out of the office collecting other files related to the case.

"It feels like we are incharge of the case and they are under us." Namjoon said looking at the two boys running around in hurry.

"Let's not get distracted." I said to Namjoon after sharing a chuckle with him.

'This is it. Today is the day I get revenge for my mother and sister. I'll bring them justice. This is finally coming to an end.' I thought. I was happy and excited but at the same time nervous and afraid. But I knew that these three guys always have my back if I mess up. That gives me motivation to to move on and get shit done.

"Y/n and Jimin, you two stay here and track Jang Min Ho's phone and keep us updated about his whereabouts. Stay connected and ready. As soon as you get the signal come to that library and bring back up along with you. We never know what could go wrong." Taehyung explained.

"Can't I come with you? You might need me." I tried to convince Taehyung but he wouldn't listen.

"Your safety is the most important right now. You are the biggest evidence and we can't put you in risk." Taehyung argued. I replied with a nod.

"Don't worry. It will be okay." Taehyung kissed my forehead and looked deep in my eyes with determination of catching that bastard.

"Let's get moving now before it starts raining. Everyone be ready and alert! This case is an important one!" Namjoon announced and everyone inside responded with a "Yes sir!"

It was indeed very cloudy outside and I was looking at the sky through the window hoping they don't get stuck in the rain when I heard something terrible.

"Why does that boy always need back up? Are we toys?" One of the officers spoke.

"Exactly! He keeps calling on us even when there is nothing to do. And then he expects us to go back ignoring all of it." Another officer started. I was about to go up to them ready to put up a fight but Jimin stopped me.

"Don't mind them. It's not time to fight with useless people." Jimin gave me a sweet smile and we sat at our respective desks.

"Guys we are here. Can you hear me?" Namjoon's voice was heard over the little Bluetooth headset.

"Yes we can hear you." I replied.

"Where is he?" Namjoon asked through the call.

"He's heading towards the library. He'll be there in like 10 minutes." Jimin informed.

"Great. Stay alert we'll call on you if we find something suspicious." Namjoon ordered.

"Roger."

We were waiting for Namjoon's next order. My hands were shaking and I was really nervous. Jimin tried to comfort me as always but it wasn't working today. I was becoming more anxious as each second passed.

"They're here. Jang Min Ho and his little girlfriend Choi Na Ye." We could tell from the call and Namjoon's tone that he was smirking.
