{4} Evidence In The Shredder

"Woah who is she?" The short red haired man asked.

"Park Areum. Intern" Nina said cutting me off.

"Oh hey Im Park Jimin!" The guy placed the cups down on his table which was on my right and put out his small hand.

"Please take care of me." I shook his hand smiling and he returned a cute one with a nod.

'Why is this place filled with hot officers?'

"Ahh...i brought coffee for Nina and myself didn't know you'd be here. Do you want me to bring you one too?"
"No no, i don't drink coffee, its ok." I refused.

"Ahem.." Nina fake coughed. "If you're done flirting lets get back to work."

"Jeez Nina im not flirting~" Jimin said pulling his chair between me and Nina so now we sat in a triangle.

"Areum, you'll have to read through this to learn whatever we have found out up until now." Nina said handing me a folder which contains around only 10 pages. I opened them and glanced at every page while both the seniors explained whatever i could do for them.

But wait.

I saw my name at the middle of the page somewhere. It was a list if prostitutes in the town! I quickly turned the page knowing i had to ruin this page somehow.

"And that's about all you can do." Nina finished.
"Oh! Can i ask you for a favour?" Jimin asked.
"Sure" i looked at him.

He handed me some more pages. "Can you put these in the shredder? We don't need these. Its right there." He said pointing at the far end of the room.

"Sure!" I got out of my seat and went towards the shredder carrying both the file and the waste pages in my arms.

I started to put the pages one by one in the shredder. At last I clicked a picture of the prostitute list on my phone and finally put that in the shredder as well.

'Your evidence is destroyed pretty face.'

I went back to my desk and asked Nina if i could take the file home and study it properly and she allowed me to.

The rest of the day went the same. Both my seniors were on their computers furiously typing away and i sat at the middle pretending to read the file.

'Oh c'mon! I know all this! In fact i know more than this after all I'm the one who did it!!'

"Ahhh its finally time to go home!" Jimin said half yawning and stretched his arms.

"Hows my team doing?" Taehyung came out of his office walking towards us, his coat hanging on his arm. Hot as always. I smiled without realising.

The two stood up immediately so I did the same.

"It was tiring im exhausted!" Nina said acting all tired. But all she did was smash her keyboard all day, the computer suffered more.

"Okay and what about you Areum?" The three turned their attention to me.

"Me? Oh well, there wasn't much to do. All I did was read the file and did some research." I said nervously.
Taehyung smiled, "Do you like it here?"

I nodded.

"Good. You all worked very hard today. You may go home. I'll drop Areum home."

"No! I can take the bus!" I protested.

"It's okay. I know where you live. In fact I live around there as well so I'll drop you on my way."

"Oh...okay." I gave up. Who could refuse to have a ride with such a hot officer?

The rest left while i got into Taehyung's car yet once again.

"So how are you getting along with the others?"
"Nina kind of behaves like she is my boss but she's nice. And Jimin...well he's nice too." I complimented his team.

"Yeah..Nina sometimes can be a pain but she's good at heart." He smiled.

I agreed. She's not that bad after all. She works hard. So should I.

After a 10 mins ride just like last night but this time with a lot of friendly conversations, he dropped me off at the same street we met.

"Have a good night, doll." He teased.

"Stop calling me that!" I said.
We waved at each other with a smile as he drove off and eventually disappeared from my sight.

I walked back home as well. I had fun today. I've heard its fun to work at an office with all your colleagues and then having a party later. But this was the first time i experienced it. It was...warm.

Once i returned home i quickly changed into my pyjamas. This is when my real work starts.

I opened my laptop and made a copy of the list which i had taken a picture of. It was the exact list just excluding my name.
