It has been almost days.
This was the third day, ever since the quite intimate moment that she shared with him.
Her eyes kept flickering, almost seemly like she was trying to stay awake.
Megan was now in her hotel room with Ben. They had reached the destination for the first batch of the show. North Carolina.
And the first thought that came to mind, was avoiding. More specifically, the person named, Jack. He had not talk to her much. Not like he didn't want to, but just when it happens, she was always not in sight.
Gone like the wind.
She would speed up her legs back to her hotel room. The only place where she could temporarily feel calm and comfort.
She spent time, being cooped up inside the room. Not doing any interaction other than with the hotel staff for room service and Ben.
If he had not went to check up on her, she would have just been a hermit. Megan was reluctant at first, to let him in, but it did not take long for her to open the door up to him.
She was aware of what she's going through. After the moment that she shared with Jack, she had regretted it immensely.
An obvious outcome.
Feeling too awkward to face him, even though in her mind, that it was just one of those typical situations to him. Common. But to her, it was something in the way opposite.
"Megan, Megan!" Ben repeatedly tried calling out to her, as he stood from a fair distance away.
"Yes-yes, what Ben?" She immediately shot up from her seat, before sitting down again.
Looking visibly distressed.
Megan had been in a daze these days.
She could not concentrate.
Rocking her body back and forth on the bed, as she stared at some variety show on the television screen. She has always been a person who daydreams pretty much all the time, but this time it was not exactly voluntary. And not the most pleasant.
Is crazy to think that only one person had caused another to have such an effect on themselves.
"Is nothing much, but you looked...Not fine." Ben said hesitantly as he took a pity look on me from the table top. Cutting small slices of apples.
"Come on, if you are thinking that I'm not fine, no goddamn way okay?"
"Okay sure, but you have to get better at lying." He finished cutting the slices and placed them on a small ceramic plate. Walking to a small table, leaving it there. "Want some? Is sweet." He ate a slice, before commenting on the delicious taste.
Megan sighed defeatedly, gazing at the scenery of the town from the window. She slowly picked up an apple slice and ate it bit by bit. She was really to give up and just say out her troubles. On what or who was occupying her tiny mind.
Three days, contemplating to herself.
She needed advice or someone to know. Someone close. It was just Ben anyways, so it was no big deal. They have been getting along quite well as good friends. He's a polite and an understanding person. A sweetheart.
She then closed her eyes and slightly frowned.
"Fine...is just, jus- I'm feeling kinda guilty and regretting something....that I did." She stared her eyes down at the ground, while playing with her fingertips.
Flashback
The room was dimly lit, only minor blue neon lights had surrounded the entire interior of the room.
