Her heart was pumping fast.

Had she developed a some kind feeling of lust after seeing him like this?

Oh boy.

"Urmm...Can you like get out?" Megan nervously asked. Staring blankly at the dark blue bedsheets, while not looking at him in any way possible. It was too much for her.

"Sure, sure. I'm just here to check around." Jack said while moving to sit on the edge of the bed instead. "You don't have anything to tell me?"

"Yeah??" Unsureness was conveyed in her voice.

"You sure?" He repeated the question again. He had gotten off the bed and went browsing around her room.

Megan was feeling unknowingly afraid, that he would find out about her problems. At least the fact that she cannot function to sleep without a goddamn pill.

She did not want anyone in her life.

No emotional attachment or such shit. She has always hid her problems away from everyone and anyone in her life, leaving no one left to stay.

No one seemed to care enough to push her out of her shell, opening the pandora box.

"Yes."

"Okay, if you say so." There Jack stood, looking at the empty sleeping pill containers. "You know, if you need anything. I'll be in my room." He took a sigh, before leaving the room.

Jack had gotten a sense of grasp on what was going on, and Megan realised it too. She was honestly relieved that he didn't taunt her further.

She was lying on the bed. Sleepy eyes that couldn't stand to close. It was tough. To be awake with all those thoughts, the chaotic ones.

Megan tossed herself around the bed. She was sniffling on her tears as quietly as possible, with all the past painful memories overflowing through her strong yet fragile mind.

Nights are the usual catalyst for the asleep, excluding those who crave to sleep.

She then remembered about Jack's words.

Should she go to him?
Or not?

But she feels assurance and warmth around him.

Maybe he could understand?

It was worth to try.
After all, she was feeling extremely and weirdly lonely. She needed someone to talk to. So, she picked herself up from bed, and headed to his room.

She was standing outside his room. Carefully finalising her decision and putting an end to her indecisiveness.

Gulping beforehand, Megan knocked twice on the door. "Is Megan."

Silence played by for a minute.

Her anxiety had went up.

She was busy playing with her fingers, not knowing what to do.

Maybe he was asleep, she wondered. "I...I'll go now, SORRY FOR DISTURBING!" She started to prepare to retreating back to her cave.

"Come in." Jack's voice was faintly heard.

His voice had caught her off guard. She then opened the door and went inside. Jack was in a moment of wearing a white shirt over him.
