That's pretty cool

------------------

Where am I? Everything around me is so dark.... am I in a cave? What is happening? I stand up and look around. It's pitch black.

"Hello?"

"Mom, dad?"

"Where am I?"

"America!" I hear a familiar voice shout in the distance. They sound in pain. I turn around and see Germany. There are black chains wrapped tight around his body. I try to walk towards him, but the closer I get the farther away he is.

"Germany! Wait!" I yell, but he still just gets farther and farther away.

"America!" Another voice yells. I turn behind me and see New Zealand, also wrapped in chains. I try to run towards him, but of course he only gets farther away.

"Please! Come back! I'm sorry!"

"Help us! help us! PLEASE HELP!" I hear them both scream. I can't move. They both start sinking into the floor, crying in pain. All I could do was watch in horror. Suddenly, Poland's words rang clearly in my head.

"You're just a powerless freak,"

"No! Please! Come back! Please! I-I can help! I-I,"

I can't

I can't save them, can I?

"America?"

"Ame, please wake up. We're worried about you,"

I open my eyes to see Australia and Canada. I prop myself up in my bed. It was just a dream.

"You good Ame? You were talking in your sleep," Australia says. I rub my eyes.

"I was? Sorry...," I say. Australia sighs.

"Don't apologize. You should feel lucky you even got sleep," Australia says. Australia's eyes are red and puffy. It's obvious that he had been crying. I decide not to mention it though, Australia doesn't really like crying in front of people. I look over at Canada, who just looks tired and defeated.

"Where's mom and dad?" I ask. Canada sighs.

"They went to see UN. They are going to move the meeting to tomorrow. Apparently New Zealand isn't the only country who's gone missing," Canada says.

"Really? W-who else has gone missing?" I ask.

"Let's see... China, Kazakhstan, and Indonesia. I feel bad, Philip seemed really upset about Indo. All of his friends are. I don't really know him as well as I know Phil though, but it's still horrible," Canada says.

"And Kaz! I don't think I could handle telling Bela about Kiwi. First losing your brother and then your good friend?" Australia said sadly. I sigh.

I don't really know these three countries as personally as my other friends, but Indonesia and Kazakhstan did seem pretty cool whenever I was around them. As for China... well, it's complicated. It's kind of depends on the moment. Like, maybe one day we'll have an ok interaction; I'll say a stupid joke and he'll laugh and make some sort of sarcastic comment. And then other times we'll just straight up ridicule each other. But even though we aren't exactly friends, (frienemies?) it's horrible to know that he went missing.

"Anyway, Poland is coming over. He wanted to check on you," Canada said. I shudder, remembering the dream I just had. I know Poland didn't mean what he said, but it still hurts. My brothers leave my room so that I can get dressed. I sigh. Do I really want to see Poland today? I know he just wants to check on me... but I don't really feel to good.

Oh wait, that's why he's checking on me.

When I get dressed I walk out into the main hall where my brothers were waiting for me.

"Ok, Poland should be here soon. Me and Australia are going for a walk, unless you need me to stay here?" Canada said. I smile.

"Don't worry Nada! You guys have fun," I say. I know I said I hate it when people baby me, but Canada is just so sweet that I can't really be to mad. But don't let his sweetness fool you! He will fuck you up if you hurt someone he cares about, (which is admittedly everyone).

We make our way to the entrance. As Canada opens the door to leave, Poland elegantly lands in front of our mansion.

"Hey Poland," I say, trying not to sound sad.

"Hi America!" Poland says, an apologetic look on his face.

"Ok, you kids have fun!" Canada exclaims while walking away, Australia by his side.

"Thanks mom!" I call after him jokingly. "Come on in," I say to Poland. He smiles and walks in.
