The world surrounding me is nothing but a blur.

My only focus is the ground below me getting closer

And closer

And closer

I didn't want to die this way.

If I had powers I could save myself.

My only hope for survival is if someone

Anyone

Cared enough to try and break my fall.

The last thing I said to Germany still echoed in my head.

I'll meet you there

Suddenly, I stop

Sharp talons grab me by the back of my shirt.

I look up and see a giant Bald Eagle.

I must be imagining this.

It appeared to be glowing, it almost seemed more like a silhouette.

The shock of the adrenaline and near death experience made me faint.

When I awoke, I was laying on the ground next to the Palace. I was a bit scratched up, but otherwise fine.

"America!" I hear someone scream in the distance. Suddenly, I'm surrounded by My brothers, Japan, Poland, Russia and Phillip. I am having trouble comprehending what is happening. Did I just survive that fall?

I sit up, and see that almost everyone in the meeting room is now outside. I see my father and mother, both with horrified faces. I see UN and his guards. Both of them standing next to....

Oh no

"GERMANY!" I shout, staggering to my feet. They had chained him up with triple the amount of chains, and had put the amulet so tight around his neck I am surprised it's not choking him. Poland grabbed me by my wrist to stop me from getting closer to Germany.

"He tore of the amulet, almost set the palace on fire, pushed you off the roof, and tried to escape into the woods. And you said he would never hurt you," Poland says. I pulled my wrist out of his grasp.

"He didn't push me! I told him to go to the forest because I knew you would all try and hurt him!" I shouted.

"Then... who pushed you off the building?" Canada asked, fear in his voice.

"I....I don't know..." I say. Crap, I just realized how this is starting to look.

Poland put his hands on my shoulders.

"America... did you..?" Poland says carefully. I push him away.

"No I swear! Someone pushed me! And I know for a fact it wasn't Germany!" I exclaim. I look at UN with pleading eyes. He lets out a long sigh before turning to his guards.

"I wan't you to escort Germany back to his room. As for the rest of you, you may go home. We will figure out the culprit next meeting," UN says. Everyone does as they are told. I start walking back home with my family.

Before we go too far, I turn back and look at Germany, who was being taken back to his 'room'.

I see Poland, looking at Germany with a mixture of fear and pity.

And ahead of me, I see a long, unpleasant conversation with my mom and dad.
