"AMERICA!"

I flinch. I guess I should have ran. I turn around to see my father followed by Republican and Democrat.

"What do you think your doing out here all by yourself?" My father exclaims.

"Well, I'm not by myself... I was just going for a walk with Japan!" I exclaim. My father doesn't even look at him. He simply grabs me by the arm and drags me back home. I look back and mouth an apology to Japan, who just nods understandingly.

When we enter the house, my father tells everyone (and I mean everyone) to make sure I don't leave the house until we figure out who tried to murder me. Great.

I lock myself in my room. I don't want to feel like everyone has their eyes on me. At least in my room I feel somewhat better. Like, I'm trapping myself in here to feel less like other people are trapping me, if that makes sense. I spent the rest of the morning reading books that I took from our library. I'm usually not big on reading, but the books that I picked out were perfect for me. Especially since all of them take place in a world where everyone is like me. Powerless. It almost makes me feel normal. Maybe I was just placed in the wrong reality? Maybe I'm the most normal person in town?

A light knock on the door distracts me from my thoughts. I sigh and put down my book.

"Who is it?" I ask.

"Australia," Australia replies.

"Go away, I'm busy," I say. That's kind of a lie, I just don't feel like talking.

"But Nekomi has a letter for you," he says. I immediately open the door to see my brother holding Nekomi. There is a small folded up paper in her mouth. He hands the small cat over to me and walks away. I close my door and take the note from Nekomi, setting her down on the floor. I read the note out loud to myself.

"Dear America,

I am pleased to inform you that I have found the key to Germany's room hiding in my bedroom! I know that you said you wanted to talk to him earlier, but it seems as though your father would rather you stay inside. However, if you write a note to Germany and then hand it to Nekomi, I would be more than happy to bring it to him.

Again, I apologize that your father is being so strict, but please remember he's doing what he's doing because he loves you. And I know how you are sometimes, so please, please don't sneak out of your house or else they might just lock you in UN's palace.

- Japan

(P.S. Poland saw that I was writing this, and he wanted to apologize again for what he said. You know he didn't mean it)," I read aloud. I sigh happily and set the note down on the table. I'm glad Japan is my friend. I look over at Nekomi. The small cat looks back with an almost supportive look. I smile and walk over to my desk, taking out a sheet of paper and a quill.

(Sorry for the short chapter. Just got back from camping)
