Sophie's gone? (Keefe's POV)

I pace around Sophie's living room, Tam said he would call me after he talked to Sophie. It's been an hour, have I gotten a call? No. So I leaped here only to find NO ONE'S EVEN HOME! I was about to scream a lot of words I shouldn't say, when Tam leaped in with an unconscious Edaline his hands. "What happened?" I asked not able to take my eyes of her limp form, when I didn't get a response I looked up, Tam was pale and kept looking around. "What?" I asked starting to panic Where is Sophie? "S-She said that, that-" Tam stuttered, Tam never stuttered. I do something I never have thought I'd do, I took Edaline from Tam's arms and put her on the couch and hugged Tam. He tensed up but eventually sank into the hug and tears started flowing from his eyes. "Tam what's wrong?" I ask pulling away, "So-Sophie. Sh-she said she had another crystal, b-but she's not here." The color drains from my face. Just then Elwin walks in, "Where is Edaline?" he says not waiting for an answer before scrambling towards the limp form on the couch. "How did you know?" I choke out holding back my tears, Elwin pointed to the door where Sandor stood, "I saw them leap back with Edaline, so I got Elwin. Where is Ms.Foster?" at first I was confused before realization dawned on me, "You saw me and Tam here, Sophie-" I couldn't finish the sentence. Sandor reeled towards Tam ready to explode before he saw his red puffy eyes and the stream of tears, "What happened?" he sighed. Tam opened his mouth to explain when Fitz, Biana, Linh, Dex, Della, Alden, and Grady burst in. Each of them looked out of breath, but Fitz was the worst he looked like he just came back from a fight with the Neverseen instead of Tam, but I don't question it. "Elwin told us Edaline was here, what happened?" Biana yelled, "Tam are you crying? You never cry unless it's about me or..." Linh trails off realization taking over her face, "Tam... what happened?" she asked taking Tam to sit on one of the reclining seats. "I- I went to check on her, after- after the out-outburst you know? And she was g-getting ready to go face the Neverseen. To get Edaline back, I wanted to argue but I knew she would find a way to go off on her own if to many people wanted to come. So I made her agree to allow me to come, b-but as we leaving an alarm went off and we faced a lot of the Neverseen but at the end we went against Ruy and them, Sophie got hit in the knee pretty bad, she gave me the leaping crystal to Havenfield saying she had another one, but I don't think she did." Tam explained calming himself. "Sophie is like a second sister to Tam, she brought him to everyone and gave him a group of friends. After he discovered Sophie was, was, harming herself they grew closer. Sophie getting taken is like me getting taken to Tam." Linh explained at everyone confused faces on why Tam was crying, of course I already knew that.  All I knew was one thing, we were getting Sophie back. No. matter. what.
