First Year without Sophie (With Keefe)

"No, you have to hold it more like that." Keefe over heard Grizel helping Biana with the goblin stars. After his training with the Neverseen he didn't need help throwing the weapons. The Neverseen. Keefe thought bitterly as he heard the sound of impact from the star hitting the dummy. It had been a year since they took Sophie. His dear sweet Sophie. His Foster. His Mysterious Miss F. Keefe hit the dummy right between the eyes and was rewarded with fake blood. He walked over to get a towel and wiped his face, watching as Fitz thew a star and hit it spot on. Wait a minute. Focusing on how Fitz threw the star, the exact trick they learned in the Neverseen. He probably learned it from watching me. Keefe told himself, But you can't learn it just by watching. A small voice told him, but he shook his head and ignored it. Fitz was a lot of things but he wasn't a traitor.

First Year (With Sophie.)

Sophie walked out of the training facility sweating buckets and breathing heavy, "Better get yourself in shape, moonlark." Ruy said mocking the nickname and patting her head, immediately wiping his hand after words and running off. Sophie rolled her eyes, Why is he my best friend again? Sophie thought grinning when someone sprayed her with water. She whirled around, "ALVAR!!!" Sophie shrieked, Alvar grinned and threw a towel at her. "Thought you needed to cool off." Sophie tried to scowl as she wiped herself off, but she ended up smiling. "You're an idiot, you know that?" she said throwing the now wet towel back at him, he laughed. "That's why you love me." he said lightly pushing her. Sophie blushed, stupid face! , and pushed him back.

Second year (Keefe's pov)

"Keefe!" Biana yelled from outside the door, I couldn't do it to today. It was the 2 year anniversary of Sophie's disappearance, I usually would talk to someone about my emotions, but that someone is missing. Maybe I should talk to Fitz. No. He would get mad. Besides Fitz kept disappearing at random times of the day, going who knows where around the heavily guarded hideout. I sighed and flopped onto my bed, everything felt so gray without her. Is this how she felt when I was gone? I shook my head, of course not she didn't like me that way. But her emotions say otherwise. I groaned and put a pillow over my face.

Second Year (Sophie's POV)

"Hey Soph!" Alvar said running up to me, "Hey!" I waved my brain turning to mush. I don't know why but my brain always did that whenever Alvar came around, "Hello? Sophie? Anyone home?" Alvar waved a hand infront of my face, I laughed embarrassed, "Yeah, sorry." He rolled his eyes, "Anywayyy, I overheard Giesla and Fintan talking about a huge new plan coming up and a competition." I raised an eyebrow, "You. Are. So. Slow!!" He sighed as if I killed him, "Ruy!! Get over here and explain to your slow best friend what a competition means for us!" Ruy rolled his eyes and ran over, "Sophie. A competition means the winners will get to be involved!" Ohhh. I facepalmed. "That makes so much more sense." "Duh!" Alvar and Ruy say in unison, "We're gonna head to the lunch room, and get whatever gross stuff they're giving us today." Ruy said miming gagging. I laughed, "Try not to miss me too much!" Alvar calls over his shoulder winking his teal eyes, oh his teal eyes, I blushed and rolled my eyes, Ruy gave me a knowing smile. Wonder what that's about. As I ran after them my mind flashed to another pair of eyes. Two pieces of ice blue glass that have been burned in my mind for as long as as could remember.

Third Year (Keefe's POV)

"Hey!" Biana yelled, covered in green goop. I fist bumped Dex and forced a smile, I was always forcing a smile now that Sophie was gone. We still weren't allowed to go anywhere out of the hideout which includes helping the search for Sophie. I caught a glimpse of Fitz going into his room looking pretty beaten up. "Fitz?" I say knocking on his door, after a few low whispered curses the door opened the door to see Fitz looking decent, not at all beaten up. Maybe I imagined it. "What do you need Keefe?" He said slightly annoyed. Crap. Think of a lie hurry! "Just wondering if you wanted to help me and Dex prank Linh." I say, he rolled his eyes. "I'll pass." he said and slammed his door in my face. Weird.

Third Year (Sophie's POV)

Sophie sighed as emptied her tray into the trash, that was some of the grossest things she has ever eaten. Ever. "Ugh can we PLEASE steal some food from the lost cities." The blonde girl groaned, "I agree, I don't know how long I can last." Ruy gagged looking at his unfinished plate. "Shush, if Fintan hears you you're going to be punished!" Alvar whispered, "Who cares? I have plenty of scares already. Ruy and I even compare to see who has more sometimes." Sophie rolled her eyes, stealing some of Ruy's water. "Hey! Give me my water back! She's not wrong though Vacker." Ruy said trying, and failing, to grab the water from Sophie. "Do not call me that! Come on let's go to bed." Alvar growled, leaving the table. "I will always call him that, just to annoy him. Night Soph!" Ruy waved as him and Sophie parted ways. Sophie smiled as she snuggled under her covers, life was good. I mean sure they hadn't had a mission in a bit, which got kind of boring, but training was fun and so was hanging out with her family. Attention: All members need to to report to the conference room at six o'clock sharp tomorrow morning. Forkle's voice filled Sophie's head and, she assumed, the rest of the Neverseen's as well. Great, it's cutting into training. Sophie thought bitterly before falling asleep, her mind picturing a pair of ice blue eyes that have been stuck in her head for as long as she could remember.

A/N: Hey everyone! I know it's been a while, I'm sorry. I'll be posting another tonight and possibly more to make up for it. Again I am SO sorry.
