A New Day, A New Memory, A New Sophie

I woke up with a groan. "Ugh.Where am I? Wait. Who am I?" I mumbled realizing I didn't remember anything. Suddenly, my memories came rushing back at me, discovering I was a telepath at age 5, being bullied all my life, feeling out of place in my family of chubby brunettes as a slender blonde, finding out I was an elf, being taken to the lost cities by the one and only.... Ruy Ignus, after that I lived with the Neverseen, trained with them, befriended them, and joined them. The Neverseen's main enemy was the Black Swan, they wanted to change the lost cities, just like the Neverseen did, but they wanted to work with them not tear them down. As if that would work! The council only cares about themselves, they'd never work with anyone! Plus, the Black Swan wanted to let the humans live without any restrictions, which is absurd! Humans are a danger to the ENTIRE WORLD AND EACH OTHER!!! They destroy themselves and everything around them. We lock all species up when they become a danger or at the LEAST put them on restrictions. The Neverseen believes in locking them up and rehabilitating them, that's the entire premise! The only member of the Black Swan that's valuable to us is Keefe Sencen, granted it would be great if the other joined our cause but the won't, Keefe was Giesla's son and apparently was important to the plan. Not that I got to be involved until I was needed. But in all of my memories that came back to me there was one buzzing in the back of my mind that felt different, a pair of ice blue eyes that made my heart flutter. Wait what? Just then my thoughts were interrupted by Ruy walking into my room. "Hey Soph!" he said leaning on the doorframe, I grinned, "What's up?" he smiles in return, "What? Can I not check on my best friend after she was attacked by the black swan?" my smile drops, yeah Ruy and I were best friends ever since he found me at my school field trip, but when was I attacked? "I was attacked?" Ruy slaps his forehead, "I'm such an idiot! I forgot! Orca said you wouldn't remember. The black swan attacked you last night in an attempt to kidnap you." he said his expression darkening at the mention of the attack. Orca was the Neverseen's physician, one of my closest friends too, thanks to my regular trips to the healing center. (I'm extremely clumsy) "Come on everyone's waiting on you in the train center." Ruy said walking out of the room leaving me to run after him with a certain pair of blue eyes in the back of my mind. 

Keefe's POV:

"That's too big of a risk!" I said tearing a hand though my hair which laid flat on my forehead un-styled, "Well then what do you suppose we do Smart Guy!" Fitz said sarcastically, I was about to shrug my shoulders when Emery cut in, "Right now we know one thing. Lady Sophie hasn't called to one of you, which means they're keeping her as a weapon. My guess is she's safe as long as she keeps acting along, if we go to her without a solid plan it could endanger her." I was about to say something back when I was rudely interrupted again, "And what? Leave Sophie alone with the Neverseen?" Bronte retorted, "What? You don't think the great Project Moonlark can take care of herself? I was under the impression she was the most powerful elf." Alina retorted sarcastically earning herself a glare from everyone (The scariest coming from me, Tam, and Bronte) my hands curled into fists but Tam stepped in front of me and Bronte stepped infront of him, "You're one to talk. All you do all day is stare at yourself in the mirror I don't even know how you can handle the sight of yourself." Bronte spat, Tam and Keefe snickered while everyone but Alina seemed to be suppressing a smile. "Sophie is 10x the elf you'll ever be." Oralie said, shocking everyone, must be the mamma bear kicking in. "I'm sure Lady Sophie will be fine until we figure out a way to get her out." Emery said emphasizing the Lady part as if to say we were getting to informal for his liking. "In the mean time, you will go into a bunker. You may come out to fight, but that is it. It's not up for discussion."

Or will it end before the summer's over.

She's always hated it, but when she finds a group of people like her with different her view changes. What happens when someone using their powers for wrong?
