After a few hours, Beatrice woke up. She rubbed her eyes. "Mom? Dad?" She asked weakly. She stretched her hands and legs as she yawned. She scratched her head before she got up from bed. She wobbled lightly as she took several steps so she decided to sit down for a bit. She hugged her knees as she waited for herself to be fully awake. When her drowsiness finally was gone, she finally stood up straight and walked towards the door. Despite being six years old, she was still small. She jumped not too high just so she can twist the knob. Successfully opening the door, she exited her room and walked down the corridor barefooted. She headed to Eli's room. "Dad? Daaaaaaaaaaaaad?" She knocked on the door. No one responded so she jumped once again to reach the knob. The door opened and she took a little peek inside. She saw no one.

Since Eli was not around, she didn't bother entering his room. She knew it was off limits when her dad is not around. She immediately pulled the door closed and headed to another door. There were allot of doors since the house was big, she checked all of them until she reached my door. She took another peek inside my room after she managed to open it. She smiled when she saw a portion of my body laid on the bed. She entered it and closed the door quietly so she won't wake me up. Bea took light steps towards me. She tiptoed her way to avoid unnecessary noises.

With the height of the bed shorter by an inch or two, her eyes had a great view of me. "Mommy." She whispered. Her hands held the edge of the matress. "Mommy." She whispered again. She took out her tiny index finger, reached out for me, and poked me right on my waist. It didn't last for too long, she immediately returned her hand to where it was placed before. Seeing that I wasn't moving, she tried to lift herself up as she grabbed onto the sheets. Her feet were no longer on the floor as she clung herself up to my bed. Her movements caused my body to twitch. She gasped quietly and kept still when she saw me move. "Mommy." She whispered as she crawled to my pillow. "Mommy." She whispered directly in my ear then she suddenly hugged me. With her hand laid on my chest and her head resting on mine, I slowly woke up. "Mommy." She whispered one last time.

"Hmm?" I hummed as I escaped my sleep. She took a little peek of my face as she heard me respond quickly. "Mommy, wake up." She said. I slowly opened my eyes and saw my daughter staring at me. I blinked a few more times until I could see her face clearly. She really looked like her father, she looked like Baekhyun. Her eyes and lips was the same as his. Her cute chubby cheeks added to her charm. "Hi baby." I greeted her weakly. She smiled prettily. "Hi mommy!" She greeted aggressively. With my eyes closed, I smiled. "Why so happy baby?" I asked. "Nothing mommy. I'm just happy you're here." She said cheerfully. "Really?" I asked as I opened my eyes and looked at her. She nodded. "Yes mommy." She answered with a smile. I reached out to her cheek and lightly pinched it making her giggle. "Do you like it here?" She asked and I nodded. "Yes. Mommy likes it here." I answered. "Good. You'll like it even more when you see the kitchen." She giggled. "Get up now mommy, I'll show you the kitchen." I laughed at her jolliness. "You're hungry, aren't you?" I asked her and she only giggled. "Ok baby, I'm getting up now." I told her. "But first, you have to kiss mommy." I said as my index finger lightly tapped my lips. Without wasting any second, she peked my lips five times and I couldn't help but giggle. "Now, can we go now mommy?" She asked. "Yes, yes." I got up while she jumped off the bed. She landed on the floor like spiderman. "Oops, careful baby. You might hurt yourself." I told her.

She was quick, but so was I. She was hopping to twist the know but I took it for her. As soon as the door opened, she stormed outside the room oing to the kitchen leaving me behind. Yes, Bea is hyper, like her father.

I opened the refrigerator to check what I can cook for her. Slowly, I bent down to fully scan the fridge. There were meat, sodas and other drinks, dairy products, vegetables, some puddings, and some sort of korean foods. I decided to take out some basil leaves and cheese. I placed it on the counter as I looked for the pasta and the olive oil. I started cooking pesto for her. Bea frowned as she rested her chin on her right palm when I served her a plate of pesto. It looked weird in her eyes. How can a spaghetti be green and oily?

"Eat it baby, it's good." I tried to persuade her. With her fork, she poked her food. She looked silly. "Trust me baby, it's delicious and healthy." I giggled as I watch her frown in disbelief. She placed her fork down. With her elbows planted on the table, she cupped her cheeks with her palms and pouted. "But daddy Eli only cooks me meat. And if he doesn't cook, we order fried chicken." She said. "That is why you need vegetables. You've been eating too much junk all this time I wasn't around." I told her. "Nevermind. I think I'll just starve until he comes home." She sounded sad. I sighed and sat beside her. "Baby, there are things that you couldn't get even when you want it so bad. Sometimes, you just have to deal with the things you have. You have to understand that." I explained to her. She didn't respond and just looked down. I sighed once again. "Ok, fine. Don't eat. I won't be the one who's going to miss out three pieces of M&M's anyway. So, ok. Don't eat." I said teasingly. She became attentive when she heard the the word 'M&M.' "Five." She bargained. "Four." I said. "Five." She insisted. "Three." I said. "Ok, four." She said and picked her fork up again. He twisted her fork until the pasta was enough. She ate it for the sake of chocolates. She chewed slowly. "So, how is it?" I asked. She didn't say a word. Instead, she targeted more of her pasta. I smirked. "I told you it was good."

As promised, I gave her four pieces of chocolates. The only reason why it was numbered specifically is because she gets too hyper after eating sweets. She does have a sweet tooth but whenever she gets some, she gets sugar rushed easily. She stayed on her chair as I washed the dishes. Rinsing the plates with water, I started a conversation with my daughter once again. "So baby, where did you go a while ago?" I asked her. "Daddy Eli took me boating today." She answered. "Boating? Really? Did you have fun?" I asked. "Yes, yes mommy." She answered. I soon finished the dishes. "Mommy, can I ask something." She asked. "Sure baby, what is it?" I wiped the sink dry. "Who's the man from earlier?" Bea asked.
