"Daddy, that's not how you do it." Bea told me as I put some syrup on the pancakes we made. "Huh? If this is not how you do it, then how?" I asked as I handed the bottle to her. "You do it like this." She squeezed the bottle and started putting some syrup. I watched her and smiled as I reslized what she drew with the syrup. "Oh so that's how you do it." I acted amazed and she nodded happily. "But don't tell anyone why." She suddenly whispered. "Why?" I asked. "The reason why it's heart shaped is it makes mommy love you even more." I tucked my lips together as I hindered myself from laughing. "It's a myth." She seriously said which mad it even funnier. Our baby is really overloaded with cuteness. I don't know how she does it, but she always makes me smile. What ever she does, it makes me happy.
"May I wake mommy up now so we can it?" She asked. "No." I answered and I noticed her frown. I placed the plate of pancaked on a tray. I took the small bowl of berries of many kinds and a mug of coffee then placed it in the tray, too. "We're waking her up." I said as I lifted the tray up. Bea jumped off the chair and swiftly ran to Kendra's room. She opened the door for me and we entered silently. Kendra was still sleeping. She was covered by a thin white fabric of blanket as the winds from the seashore conditioned the room. It's been a while since we were in Bali. "Mommy." I watched Bea wake her mother up. Kendra just responded with a purr, a purr that always gets me. If you know what I mean. She moved and rubbed her eyes as she finally left dreamland. "Good morning baby." She greeted our little girl and so did Bea.
"Good morning babe." I then greeted. Kendra sat up and leaned her back on the soft pillows. "Good morning babe." She smiled. "Ooh. Breakfast." She exclaimed. "Yup, we made it for you." Bea cheerfully said as she hugged her mother. I sat down on the edge of the bed closer to her and handed her the tray. She placed it on her lap and she started eating. Kendra sliced some pancakes and fed Bea with it. Jealous of what I saw, I acted sad and opened my mouth, too. Kendra chuckled and sliced some for me, too. She fed me and that made me happy. We spent our mornings like this ever since we got here.
The air blew as we walked on the seashore. Bea was busy collecting sea shells and we were busy following her. Holding a stick, Kendra traced our trail as we walked hand in hand. "Look at her. She's growing up so fast." I told her as we watched Bea wave her hand to us from a distance. "Babe, it has only been a month. Only her hair grew." She said. "You're just too concious and paranoid about it. Don't let it bother you and you'll be fine." She said further. I swung our hands with a little force. "I know. But I just can't help it." We stopped walking and stood face to face. I touched her belly and she stared at my hand. "When are we going to have a baby again?" I asked.
I was honestly expecting an answer from Kendra, but I only earned a laughter from her. "What? I'm serious babe." I tried saying without matching her laughter. "I can't wait to have another baby with you." I wrapped my arm around her shoulders and she held me by the waist as we carried on walking. "Then I guess we just have to try harder." She managed to say between her sweet giggles. What she said made me laugh deep inside me. "Yes, we'll have to try harder after our wedding." I said and she stopped walking again. "What do you mean by 'after our wedding?'" Kendra asked confused and I just smiled at her. I know I've been hinting her about how I plan to marry her again but I guess she got the messgae that I'm really making it official. "Babe." I held her hand. "There's something I need to tell you." I said.
The look in her eyes got me sprung. She looked very nervous but at the same time very excited. Kendra is not a fool. I know deep inside her, she already has an idea of what I have to say. She probably knows that I'm going to talk about marrying her so I'll just say it without further ado. "Marry me." I said. "Please be my wife again." She remained quiet, all stunned to my frankness. "Look, I know what you're thinking right now." I broke the silent atmosphere. "That, I could have atleast told it in a sweeter way. Or I could have asked you in a romantic way." I exhaled heavily. "But hey. This is me. I just.. We already been through allot and.." I paused. "And I know the only way I can get you to believe me is by being myself." I tried to explain. "There's been allot in my mind about you lately but whenever I try to voice it out, it doesn't come out." I said. "There's just no accurate word to describe how much I am inlove with you." My voice started to tremble.
