Chapter 31: Until the End of Time (Kendra's POV)

"So, where are we going now?" I asked Baekhyun as I buckled my seatbelt. As before, he's driving and I'm seated beside him and Beatrice is seated at the back. "Depends to you. I have no more ideas where to go." He said. "Baby, where do you want to go?" He asked Bea. "Hmm. Anywhere. Can we play today?" She asked and Baekhyun looked at me. "Do you have any appointments today?" He asked me. "Hmm. Not that I can think of." I said. "If I'm not mistaken, I don't have any schedules since yesterday. And no one else called me so.. I guess I'm free until Bea's birthday." I said. "Sweet. Then off we play." Baekhyun mumbled. "Finally thought of somewhere to go?" I asked. "Uh-huh." He responded without taking his eyes off the road.

We stopped at a familiar place. "Lotte?" I asked and he just smiled. He stopped the car and we stepped out of it. I noticed he kept on carrying Bea. "Babe, don't you think it would be nice to let her walk, too?" I asked. "Babe, please just let me, ok?" He said and I smiled knowing what he meant. So he really wants to make up for the seven years we lost by spoiling her? He's really that serious? But oh well, just might as well let him and do as he please. And it makes him really happy anyway, so I'll just let him.

Some people actually noticed us. Then I remembered that Baekhyun was a celebrity. "Babe, don't you think it's a bit risky to stroll like this? I mean, people are staring." I told him. "Babe, I'm already passed that era. If before, our fans could kill someone who's seen with us, it's different now. Most of our fans have their lives now. So it's fine to be seen like this. I'm planning on retiring anyway." He said. "Don't. Not yet. You still have a place in your kind of industry." I said. "You don't have to stop your career just because of her." He knew what I meant. "Babe, it's not that. I just want to focus on you anyway. And I have been in this industry for nine years already. That's good enough." He explained. "Still, I refuse. Until you can no longer perform, that's only when I will permit you on quiting." I insisted. He gave me his 'yeah right' look. "And who are you to do that?" He asked. I suddenly got stunned by his question. He's right, who am I to tell and do that? "Uh. I'm your... child's mother?" I answered hesitantly. He smirked at my answer. Baekhyun pulled me by the wrist and hugged me. "Right, my child's mother." He said. "And not too long from now, you're my wife.. again." He kissed my forehead.

This is probably the happiest day of my life. My family is finally complete now that Baekhyun is finally with us. And with him hinting another marriage, I could feel this unexplainable tingling feeling inside me. "So, what do you want to do first?" He asked Bea who was in his arms. "Hmm. Can we go there first?" Bea pointed a store filled with girly accessories. "But I thought you wanted to play?" He asked. "But I want headbands like theirs." She then pointed at a group of girls, probably aged 14, who has cute ribbon headbands. "Then we'll get you one if that's what you like." He said and we went to buy her some cute stuffs. Baekhyun also bought some cotton candies and other sweet foods as we strolled down the theme park. I would always object about him buying more sweets but he ends up buying more. We tried out some rides as well. Bea liked the bump cars the most.

The sun finally set and it was slowly getting dark when Beatrice seemed to get tired. Baekhyun was too since he no longer carried our little girl, instead, he only held her hands for guidance. "Did you have fun?" He asked our child and she nodded at him less energetically. "I did, too." He suddenly turned to me. "Did you?" He asked and I smiled at him. "Yes." I answered. I seemed to be the only one who has remaining energy among the three of us. "Should we go home?" I asked concerned about their condition. "I think we should eat first." Baekhyun said. "Are you already hungry baby?" He asked Bea and she shook her head. "I just want to sleep." She said with her eyes already half closed. "How about we just buy something to eat and go home?" I suggested. "Great idea. Off we go then." The three of us rode the car once again and stopped by a bistro to buy something to eat. Since Beatrice was already sleeping, I stayed in the car with her and Baekhyun was the only one who bought the food. It took him some time before he got back and we finally made our way home.

I held a paper bag filled with food as I opened the front door of our house. Baekhyun was carrying Bea since he didn't want to wake her up. "Just send her to my room babe." I said as we entered. "Then go back so we can eat. I'll prepare the food." I said and he hummed in agreement and went syraight upstairs. He laid Bea on my old bed. Still not over the fact the he finally met his daughter, Baekhyun stayed a little longer than planned. He just watched her sleep soundly. Bored on waiting for him, I went upstairs to check them out. "Babe, aren't you hungry yet?" I whispered. "No, not really. Are you?" He asked. "No. I'm not really hungry. So we're not eating?" I asked him as I hugged him from behind. "No, I have other things in my mind to eat." He whispered. I knew what he was talking about. "Then I'll fix the food so it won't get spoiled." I unclasped my arms around his waist and left the room. I went down stairs and fixed the food. When I finished doing so, I felt Baekhyun's arms in snake around my waist. He spun me so I could face him.

"What?" I asked smiling for I know his motives. "You know what." He smiled back and he pecked my lips. "No, I don't." I teased. "So tell me what." I said. "I'd rather show you." He said then crashed his lips on mine again. Only this time, he kissed with more force causing my lips to part. He took the advantage to enter his tongue on my mouth and he explored the familiar territory. I passionately returned his affection. We tasted every inch of our mouths as the kiss got deeper. The temperature was rising again and completely got lost in the moment. As usual, we would end up in bed and God knows how wild we got. "I hope you get pregnant again." He bluntly said.

Baekhyun laid while I pulled the blanket to cover our boldness. "You don't know how difficult it is to get pregnant so don't go wishing randomly." I said as I laid next to him. He pulled me closer to his body making my head rest on his chest. "Isn't that the reason why I'm beside you right now?" He asked. "To make things easier for you. I'll be here to help you." He said as he gently caressed my soft skin. "Will you be able to handle it?" I asked. "Ofcourse I can." He answered confidently. "Then we'll see." I said as I snuggled tighter. "By the way, what happened to Eli? He wasn't in the restaurant a while ago." He mentioned. "He left. I don't know where he went but he left." I said. "Oh. Are you ok?" He asked. "Hmm. Yes, I am, I guess?" I answered half heartedly. "I just.. want to thank him personally for bringing us back together. It kinda makes me feel sad that I wasn't able to show him how grateful I am." I explained. "You're thinking too much about him, don't you? Should I get jealous now?" He asked causing me to hit his stomach lightly. "Silly. You don't have to. You have us now and you're not going to lose us again." I said. He kissed my forehead and held me tighter. "That's good. 'Coz I'm not going to let that happen again." He said.

"So, what's the plan?" I asked him. "How about we go on a vacation?" He suggested. "When? And where?" I asked as I looked up to him. "Tomorrow? I don't know. I just want to have a vacation with you." He said. "Let's go somewhere we can enjoy each other. Maybe to Bali?" He continued. Baekhyun looked down on me and we matched each others stare. "Babe, where do you want to go with me?" He asked. I pecked his chest two time with my lips and he watched me do so. "Anywhere babe. As long as I'm with you, it's fine." I said as I looked at him while I rested my arms on his chest. He chuckled. "Good. Then I can take you anywhere I like." He grinned. "Yeah, you can." I smiled. "Let's sleep then. I have somewhere in mind to go to tomorrow." He said. Baekhyun tilted my chin up and leant closer so you could crash his lips on mine. I helped myself by adjusting my body so I could kiss him delicately. "Goodnight babe." He said then kissed me again. "I love you so much." He cupped my cheek and let his thumb caress it. "I love you so much, too." I said then we laid down next to each other. Tonight, I slept well and soundly like never before since I was in his arms.

I never imagined that I would actually be with him again. We had a tough past but I'm pretty sure we can build a brighter future now that we're together. Because I'm already in his arms, I feel safe. In his arms, I am secured. In his arms, I am loved. In his arms, I know everything will be ok. In his arms is where I truly belong and I'll never escape his embrace till the end of time.
