"Thank you." My eyes were fixed on August. Yet he didn't give me a look. As if he were avoiding my eyes.

Is this my chance to attack him?

But he helped me. I can't do that to him.

My hands went to one of my clips in my hair. I knew the moment I pulled it out, I should immediately aim it towards him, but I didn't have the guts when he finally lifted his eyes from the door to meet mine. It was the first time I had met his eyes with mine.

He had the most perfect green orbs. With the moon reflecting on his eyes, I swear I could see a shade of red. Almost fiery red mixed with orange.

My heart was thudding.

Do I pull out my clip or...?

"What are you?" He grunted. He looked tired like he didn't have the energy to deal with me. He walked towards the balcony, leaning against it while watching people dance and cheer to the music.

"I don't know what you mean." I laughed nervously and headed to the door. I wasn't ready to kill someone today. I just wasn't.

"I could smell your mysterious scent the minute you walked into my house. Don't play games with me."

"You sound crazy." My voice cracked when I realized the door didn't budge open. I noticed two men outside the clear window-like doors. They looked to be guarding the door.

I slowly turned to face him. A smile started to appear on his face.

I had walked myself right into a trap.

Fuck.

"I'll ask you again. Who the fuck are you?" He growled. His eyes shimmered a red colour briefly.

Without thinking I threw the pot of flower directly at him with inhumane strength. He dodged the item and ran towards me.

I ran from the window to the edge of the balcony. Looking below at the pool I made a hasty decision to jump it. I had a bad feeling that if I stayed something bad would happen.

I jumped into the pool before reaching the surface of the water, I blacked out.
