The Truth...

Chapter XXX

~this is going to be a long one. And when I say long, I mean LONG~

~right outside Nasir's and Leilani's old home, Nici~Cora~

Nasir's pov

I have a sickening feeling of what is going to happen when we get to the village. "Are you okay Nasir?" Augustine asked me. I understand his concern, I mean, I am carrying his baby. "Yes I'm okay." I said to him. "Here goes nothing." Is what Leilani said. I agreed with her. "Mhm, it's been a long ride." I said.

We walked into the village and when we did, we saw a man appeared out of nowhere. When he appeared I saw both Lucinda and Augustine gasp. Do they know him from somewhere? "Adam?" Augustine said. 'Why does that name sound so familiar?' I thought. "You two, I'm sorry to do this to you." Said the man to Augustine and Lucinda. 'He sounds so familiar...' Then just like that, both of them were knocked out.

When I saw this I had anger in my eyes. No one hurts or touches Augustine. "Now you two. I know you guys are mad at-" "Shut up!" Someone else said.

We saw a group of men with some girls come out of some of the houses. "Oh are we ruining something?" One of the girls said. 'In order to make sure Leilani, Lucinda, Augustine and myself are okay, I'm going to have to use my magic.' I thought.

"I know you don't like me because of what I did to Augustine and Lucinda, but we're going to have to work together." The man we were talking to before this group came out said. I nodded, even though I didn't want to work with him at this point. This was going to be a long day. Though it felt as if the time around us was stopped.

~warning, there will be a lot of gore in this so be prepared~

"I thought we killed you." Said the leader of the group. "Yes, you did kill me, but I came back to life." I said. I took the gloves off my hands and a sword appeared in my hand. It belonged to my dad..

Adam's pov

I knew he'd get my sword from when I was alive. He deserves it after all he's been through. But we're in the middle of a battle. No time for family matters.

Nasir's pov

One of the men of the group ran up to me and I sliced them in half, sideways, with my dad's sword. I normally hate violence like this, but if I need to fight I will. I saw the blood come from the lower half of the person I killed and I sighed. The blood was dark red and it stained the once dark purple sword that my dad once had. I saw that mysterious man from before protecting Leilani. I'm guessing he thinks I can stand my own. He's not wrong on that.

The sword disappeared though. 'You have magic Nasir, use it!' My mind screamed at me. I don't know where the sword went but my hands were still glowing. About four people of the group came at me and I closed my eyes. Two seconds later I hear four thuds. I opened my eyes to see that all the people that were about to attack me were now bloody torn corpses laying around me. Two of them had some of their limbs seperated from the body. The other two had some of their skin missing. Their clothes were all torn and tattered.

'I feel like a monster looking at all these bodies.'

The group was gone because the ones who were still alive fled, but that doesn't change the fact about what this man did to my boyfriend and Leilani's girlfriend. "Leilani." The man said. Leilani looked at him. "Please leave me and Nasir alone for right now. We need to discuss a private matter." He said.

"No! I will not leave him here! Whatever it is you'll have to say it in front of me!" Leilani shouted at him. "Your father will be mad at me for this, but I'm sorry Leilani." The man said knocking her out with his magic.
