Chapter V

~town 5, Herfst Kristal (autumn crystal in Dutch)~

Nasir's pov

I still hear that song inside my head as I walk around in every town. I've started to recognize the song. Slowly but surely I'm remembering this song. I can't remember the name though. "Nasir!!!" I heard Leilani say. I snapped back to reality and I looked at her. "Yes Leilani?" I asked looking at her.

"What are you thinking about?" "Everything. The song I keep hearing and the past visions I'm seeing." I replied to her. She rubbed my back and I sighed softly. "Everything is going to be okay." I heard her say.

Everything is going to be okay.

I heard that same line echo through my head and I started getting a headache. "Maybe I shouldn't have said that. Come on, let's get you to a bed so you can rest." She said helping me walk to our room in the inn we were staying at. "It's fine Leilani, you didn't think it would be bad." I said to her softly.

When we got to our room, she walked me over to my bed and laid me down. "You stay in bed and rest okay?" She said. I nodded and closed my eyes, falling asleep a minute after.

I woke up in a bed and a room that was coloured with my favourite colours. Then I saw two doors. One said the past, and the other said the future. I opened the one that said the past and I saw the same scene that I always see. I saw my mom and dad's bloodly corpses laying on the ground on that summer day. "Why are you doing this to me brain?!" I said aloud as I punched the ground.

"It's because it's a memory that's stuck to you. One that's impacted your life immensely." I heard a voice say. It sounded like my dad's. "Who are you?" I asked softly. "Someone you knew from your past, but you'll see me in the capital." The voice said.
