Nasir's pov
Everyone else was asleep but me and Augustine. "Hey Augustine? Come with me." I said to him getting up. He looked at me and followed me. "Lead the way my prince." He said with that charming smile. I blushed softly and led him to the lake nearby.
In the center of our region there's a lake and that's where the capital sits. You have to go all the way around the lake from either side to get to the bridge to the capital. "So what is it you want to show me?" He asked me when we reached the lake. I smiled at him. "I wanted to spend some alone thine with you. And I wanted to tell you something..." I said shyly.
"What is it baby?" He asked me looking into my eyes. "I'm... pregnant." I said looking up at him. He gently hugged me and kissed my head. "I'll be happy to be a dad. Remember I said that to you the night we did it." He said looking down at me.
I smiled up at him and kissed him. He kissed me back happily. As we kissed, I could feel the time around us slow down. It felt as if we were the only people in the world. "I love you Augustine." I said pulling away and looking into his eyes. "I love you too baby boy." He smiled down at me.
We sat down by the lake and I laid my head on his shoulder. The water sparkled as we sat there. I smiled softly and closed my eyes. "Tired?" He asked. "No, just enjoying your company. I really missed you." I said snuggling closer.
He wrapped his arm around me. "I really missed you too. You don't understand how much I missed you." He said. I smiled and licked his cheek.
