~town 12, Lagoonwood~
Nasir's pov
When Leilani and I got yo Lagoonwood, I felt different. As soon as my feet touched the roads of the town, I instantly felt lonely. "I don't think anyone lives here anymore." I said looking at Leilani. "Why did you say that?" She asked me.
"Because it feels lonely here." I said softly to her. She looked around and sighed softly. "It looks like a ghost town here. We should probably keep going before people jump out at us and attack us." She said. I nodded and we started walking through the town.
As we walked I saw the visions again. I saw all the people that were here before, when we were kids. It feels so different to walk through here now then it did at that time. I sighed softly as we walked, thinking. It felt so sad and dead here. As we walked, animals came up to us and started following us. Mostly they were following me. "Um, why are you guys following me?" I asked to them.
The animals looked at Leilani and I and the squirrel was the one to speak. "It's because we're spirit guides. Us two animals are spirit guides. More so spirit animals." It said. I nodded softly to it. "Who are you spirit animals of?" I asked softly.
"Well I'm the spirit animal of that girl's mom. And my friend here, the dove, is the spirit animal of your mom." The squirrel said. I nodded to them. Leilani just stood there confused. I rubbed her back. "Get used to hearing animals talk." I said to her smiling.
She hissed at me in a playful way then we continued walking. Once we reached the end of the town, we waved good bye to the animals and continued our way to Nici~cora.
