Nasir's pov
We've passed by so many ghost towns on our way to Nici~cora. The region is dying and soon won't be here anymore. But will always be remembered as a great region. I sighed softly thinking. "You okay baby?" Augustine asked me. "Yes I'm okay, just thinking. Hey, um, I need to tell you something." I said to him.
Leilani and Lucinda were gathering supplies for our trip while Augustine and I were inside the room we shared. "What is it love?" He asked softly. I took a deep breath. "That man you killed in your past has talked to me before." I said softly looking at him.
"What? He died a long time ago... How did you talk to him?" Augustine asked me. "It's because I've been following you and him you idiot." Derek said hissing slightly at us. Augustine and I looked at him, seeing that we both could see him now. "Well hi again Derek." I said softly.
Augustine just stayed quiet. I'd be at a lost for words if I were him too. "Look I was thinking about what you said Nasir. I didn't come here to start shit with you guys seeing that you're pregnant. But I came here to tell you guys that I actually forgive Augustine. Sadly I can't get rid of the curse I put on him. It'll be there until he passes." Derek said softly.
"You hear that Augustine?" I asked Augustine softly. He nodded at me, not saying anything. I motioned for Derek to leave. After Derek disappeared I hugged Augustine. "I didn't know that this would hurt you as much as it did." I said softly.
I saw his eyes change color. "I-it's okay, I just need to forget about the past." Augustine said softly looking at me. I kissed him softly. "Let's forget about it together." I said with a loving smile.
