Nasir's pov

I sighed softly as I sat in the room Leilani and I were staying in. Leilani was out getting some more food for our trip to the capital since we were running low on supplies. "What is going on? First the visions, then the song, then the note, then the dreams, now I'm having a really bad headache." I said softly to myself. "Still fighting the fact of what you are?" I heard Messiah say.

I looked over at my bed and I saw him sitting there. He's a spirit that's following me around. I've gotten used to him popping up randomly. "Yes I am. I don't believe anything of what I heard from that figure in that dream I had in the last village." I said to him. "Maybe you should try listening to your heart instead of your mind. But don't just take it from a spirit like me." He said softly.

I sighed and got up. "I need a break." I said looking at him. "Understandable. But you should be careful out there. I have a feeling something bad is going to happen in the near future." He said sighing. I nodded. "I will be, don't worry. But I have one question for you." I said looking down at him.

"What is it child?" He asked me with a gentle smile. I sighed and when I was about to ask the question, there was a knock on the door. "Hide." I said to him. Messiah nodded and hid. I went over to the door and opened it, seeing that there was a letter on the ground.

"What's this?" I asked softly. I opened the letter. "It says that soon I'll be a king, but I need to show that I am." I said to Messiah who became visible again when I closed the door. "I don't know who would have sent it." He said looking at me, "But what was your question?" He asked me.

"Who sent you?" I asked him. "Your mom. She sent me to watch over you because she can't travel from where she is." He said softly.
