Chapter XIV

~this is going to be a drama chapter and I hope you guys enjoy it~

~once they leave town 14, Stone Cold~

Nasir's pov

On our way to our home town we were attacked. Not by Saintoes, but by something else. We didn't know who these people were or what they wanted. "Leave us be." I said growling a bit. I'm not letting anything happen to my sister.

"No. One of you is going to get seriously hurt here." The leader of the group said. I stepped in front of Lei. "You're not hurting my sister at all!" I said.

"Run Lei, I'll be fine I promise." I said to her. She gave me the face that says she wouldn't run but she did as I told her to do. Luckily no one chased her, they were all focused on me. I pulled out my pocket knife which made all of them laugh.

"That little old knife isn't going to stand a chance against us and our weapons." They said. A long fight happened and I did kill three of them with just my little pocket knife. But sadly I was badly injured. The guys ran away because I was going to die so they left me there.

Lei came back to me when it was safe and she picked me up as I laid there on the ground. "Maximiliano..." She said crying softly. "I'm okay Leilani, just badly injured. If I die, it'll be okay, okay?" I said looking at her.

She shakes her head crying. "I can't lose you too..." She said. Then everything went black.

~on the way to the light~

I saw the light disappear at the end of the tunnel. "You're not supposed to die yet because legends never die. You're a legend Nasir. Never forget that." I heard a voice say. Then about 10 minutes later everything lit up.

I woke up in a shock seeing Leilani crying beside me. "Leilani..?" I asked looking up at her. She looked back at me crying. "Nasir.. You died there for 10 minutes... You scared me to death." She said. "I'm so sorry..." I said.

I got up, grunting in pain a bit and Lei helped me stand. "We need to get you somewhere you can rest and heal." She said. I nodded and we started heading back to the town we just left so I can rest up and heal.
