Nasir's pov
It was the middle of the night when I decided I'd take a walk around the village. See Leilani and I were staying the night in the village and I told her that I couldn't sleep. She told me to take a walk and so that's what I'm doing. As I walked, I saw the young Leilani and I again as we were quickly grabbing food from some of the carts then running again towards Hookwood village. "Why am I seeing these visions of the past?" I questioned.
I walked to the lake that was in the center of the town and stared into the water. I heard the sounds of something, or someone playing a song. The song was a soft melody, like a lullaby. I sat down and listened to the song as I heard it play. I saw a bird fly at me and land on my shoulder. "You were sent here weren't you?" I asked the bird, looking at it.
It was a messenger bird. I saw a note tied to the foot and I untied it. I read the note softly.

Hello Maximiliano. I know this is shocking to see a note come from someone who you haven't seen in a long time and you probably don't remember me. But I know you remember my first name. It's Adam. You'll see me in the capital.
The note disappeared after I read it. 'Adam... Why do I remember that name? Who in my life ever had that name?' I thought to myself. I looked out to the water, slowly getting tired. "I should head back before I fall asleep out here." I said softly and I went to get up. But when I did, my legs felt weak.
I just laid there in the grass by the lake. "I'm sure Leilani will see me when I wake up." I said softly as I let sleep take over me.
