Nasir's pov

~the dream continues in this chapter~

I wanted to finish that dream but I haven't been able to. Every time I did it never worked. I didn't see that dream from before, I kept seeing other dreams. Like dreams of Augustine and I doing the things every couple does. I sighed softly. "What's wrong Nasir? You've been quiet all day." Lucinda asked.

She wasn't wrong, I have been quiet all day. "It's nothing Lucinda." I said to her softly. She stared at me. I knew she didn't believe me but she seemed to have let it slide. "Alright, I'll trust you, for now." She said.

Later when everyone was asleep, I went out to the lake and sat down by it. "Just 7 more towns and then we're at the capital." I said to myself, thinking. I climbed up into the tree nearby and laid down. "I think just for tonight, I'll sleep by the lake." I said softly.

I then fell asleep.

~dream~

I looked at the necklace that belonged to my mom. "I see this memory as bad because I started crying and hating myself for not protecting my mom or father. But I accept that my mom's gone and that what happened wasn't my fault." I said looking at the necklace, then my surroundings changed to a white room and there was a figure in it.

"I'm glad to see how you're growing up. But we're not done yet. There's still a few more memories to go through. Those will not be seen by them but they will only be seen by you and me." The figure said. "Who are you?" I asked them. "That information is classified." The figure said.

I sighed softly. "Well I guess I'll see you next time." I said. The figure nodded.
