Thirty eight

Ashley's POV

I started to wake up but I didn't open my eyes. I rolled over on the couch and I realized JJ wasn't next to me. Weird. I opened my eyes and looked around the room. I looked down at the floor and saw Pope passed out. I sighed as I crouched down and patted his back.

"Pope." I whispered trying to wake him up.

He didn't move at all causing me to groan. I patted his head over and over again.

"Pope!" I yelled.

"What what?" He yelled frantically as he woke up.

"Where's JJ?" I asked him.

"Shouldn't he be like clinging to your waist?" Pope mumbled in a groggy voice.

"He's not and that's why I'm worried." I say sharply as I look down at him.

"I have no clue, ask John B." Pope mumbled.

I sighed as I headed to John Bs room.

"John B!" I yelled as I walked into his room.

His room was empty. What the hell? I looked around the rest of the house and saw kie passed out in the front room.

"Kie!" I yelled as I patted her back.

"What?" She yelled angrily.

"Have you seen John B or JJ?" I ask her.

She shook her head and sat up to look at me.

"They both aren't here." I say as I look at her.

Her eyes widen as we both realize where they might be.

"Shit! Rafe!" I yelled as we both sprinted back to Pope.

He was still laying on the ground trying to sleep.

"Get up Pope! We have to find JJ and John B before they do something stupid!" I yell at him.

"Who cares? Rafe deserves it." Pope mumbles as he refuses to get up.

"You know JJ and John B. They are probably going to be headed to Juvie if we don't stop them." Kie says frantically.

Pope groaned in annoyance as he forced his body to stand up.

"I'll drive." Kie said as we headed out the door.

"Shit. The dumbasses took the van." I mumbled as we looked at an empty driveway.

"Well we tried." Pope says as he starts to walk back inside.

"Wait. Come on Pope. These are our friends." Kie says softly.

"Yeah and I'm now realizing we should have picked smarter ones." Pope says as he looks at us like we are crazy.

"Me and Kie are walking there with or without you." I say sharply.

"It's a far walk. I have sensitive feet." Pope complains.

"Whatever. Stay here." I say playfully as I start walking away.

"Ugh fine." Pope mumbled as he quickly caught up with us.

I high-fived kie as she smiled at me.

"Where are we headed to exactly?" Pope asks us.

"The Cameron's house." I say as we continue to walk.

"Why don't we just take the boat?" Pope says causing us all to stop walking.

"You are a genius!" I say as I quickly start running back to John Bs house.
