Fourty one

Ashley's POV

I watched as JJ and John B quickly crawled away from us.

"Where are they going?" Kie asked me as her eyes followed the two boys.

"They are going to kill Rafe." I whisper nervously.

"You have got to be kidding me. Do they not know how to sit still for more than two minutes?" Kie mumbled as she groaned.

She quickly crawled past Pope and I followed behind her.

"Where are you going? The movie just started." Pope whispers.

"JJ and John B are going to kill Rafe." I whisper back to him.

"Dammit. I thought you were going to get popcorn." Pope complains as he looks at both of us.

"Are you coming or not?" Kie asked him sharply.

"I'm kinda really invested in what's happening in this movie." Pope says sarcastically.

"Just come on." I mumble as I yank his arm.

We all crawl to the back of all the chairs and stand up.

"Where are they?" Kie asked as she looked around.

We all look around when we hear yelling coming from behind a couple trees.

"Let's look over there." I say as I head towards the noises.

"We don't want any trouble." I hear Rafe say in a playful tone.

"The second you hurt Ashley you were screaming for trouble." JJ replies sharply.

I walk deeper into the woods with Kie and Pope following close behind me. I then catch sight of John B and JJ glaring at Rafe, Topper and Kelce. I try and be quiet as I watch them but I accidentally stepped on a twig.

"Smooth." Pope whispers causing me to smack him.

"Ashley?" JJ asks as he gives me a puzzled look.

I walk over to him as Kie and Pope still follow behind me. My eyes land on Rafe and I feel the familiar sickness in my stomach. I feel my body get hot and I take deep breaths as I try to calm down.

"Hey Ashley." Rafe says in a playful tone.

"Shut the fuck up." John B snaps back at him.

"Can we please just go watch the movie?" I say softly as I turn my attention to JJ.

"Go watch the movie I will take care of this." JJ says softly as he gently caresses my face.

"I don't want you to get hurt." I reply softly.

"Ashley we never got to finish where we left off." Rafe says sharply.

I turn towards him as anger filled my mind. Maybe this asshole should pay. I started to run towards him but was immediately yanked backwards by two hands on my waist.

"Let me go!" I screamed at JJ.

"Calm down." JJ says softly as he wraps his arms around me.

I continue to fight against his grip as Rafe laughs at us.

"Learn how to Control your dog JJ!" Topper yelled playfully.

I feel JJ stiffen underneath me as I can tell the comment triggered him. JJ quickly let go of me and I turned around shocked. JJ just gestured towards Rafe. Rafe had a stupid smirk stuck on his face as I walked up to him. I punched him in the face causing him to laugh.
