YOUR POV
As I opened my hotel room with the keys that had been given to me by the receptionist, I turned on the lights and took in the view of the lovely suite. I dropped my bags and suitcases and walked to the window. I looked outside at a lovely view of Los Angeles,California. Back where I'm from the city didn't look as rushed as it did here. And by rushed I mean that you could see that time was the main business with everyone I saw walking down the street. Everybody was in a hurry. I was brought out of my thoughts by my phone vibrating in the pocket of my jeans.
Hello (Y/N),
I hope you had a good flight. We will be expecting you at the main entrance of the building. I hope you still have the address I gave you? I will be looking forward to having you help me with the students that also will be attending this tour as a part of their learning experience. I will see at 3 PM backstage.Bye, Alex
As I re-read the message I started to realize it was already 2:45. I quickly grabbed my keys and ran out the door, took the elevator to the lobby and ran to the cab that was right in front of the hotel.
When I arrived at the address that was given to me by my co-worker Alex, I ran to the main entrance and saw that it was 2:59. I stopped right in front of a girl who looked around the same age as me (probably around 20 years old).
"Excuse me, can you maybe tell me where I can find Alex Gonzalez?" I asked her while trying to control my breathing after all the running.
"You found her, I'm guessing you are (Y/N). " she said while holding out her hand for you to shake. "Yes I am. Wait, so you're Alex? I didn't think you would be around the same age as I am." I said while shaking her hand. "Yeah I thought the same thing about you, but the management and our bosses wanted people around our age so that we could connect better with our clients and students." I nod in understanding as we make our way inside the building. As we were on our we to meet the students we talked about ourselves a little bit to get to know each other better. Turns out that we have quite a lot in common .
After that we met the group of 10 students. There were 7 girls and 3 guys. All of them were around 16 and 15. We talked about ourselves and there was great dynamics in the group.
I told them that they didn't have to call me all formal names or anything, they could just call me (Y/N).
I looked around and saw everyone talking excitedly to one another. These 5 months are going to be amazing!
