Chapter 25

My whole body ache, this was a type of pain I was afraid that I would never be able to get over. My heart ached and I had cried for what felt like forever.

My Father was gone.

After he was shot, we found that Uncle Armando had somehow escaped and took Anna with him. I didn't care though because I knew that even if I did find him the amount of pain that I wanted to unleash on him will never match the amount of pain that I have in my heart. He took some one that I cared about so deeply away from me. He destroyed my happiness.

And my mother, my poor mother had barely been able to leave her bed these past few weeks. She was in so much pain but she didn't want us to see. The day of his funeral she tried to jump in the casket and begged for god to take her as well. It was competely heart breaken.

As for my brothers, Allen well he has been taking it better thant the rest of us, he's the only one that's keeping it together and Armando has been MIA all week, he hasn't bothered to return any of my call or texts messages and I was starting to grow really worried about him.

There were three quick knocks and I knew it was Noah, the only person who bothered to check up on me now a days besides Sienna but she usually just busted into the room.

"Come in." I chroked and wiped my eyes hoping that he wouldn't notice that I had been crying.

He opened the door and peeked inside, he had a slight frown on his face as he walked in and shut the door behind him.

"Are you going to eat dinner?" He asked.

I groaned and rolled over to my side. "No." I sighed.

I could hear him taking off his shoes before climbing into bed with me. He brought me close against his chest and stroked his hand in my hear.

"You have to eat something." He said gently.

"I'm not hungry." I said lowly.

He said and kissed the top of my forehead. "I know this must be hard for you Alexis, but your father wouldn't want you to spend you time like this. He would be livid if he found that I was letting you go days without food."

I turned my head so that I was staring at his eyes, they always seemed to make me feel better.

"I miss him Noah." I said my voice cracking.

Noah's face turned to a pain expression and he pulled me into a tight hug. "I know baby, I know you do."

I wrapped my arms around him and instantly started crying. My chest ached and my nose bruned but the tears just wouldn't stop. Noah stroked my hair and rocked me back and forth until eventually I had stopped crying. We sat in silence I didn't have anything to say and he didn't want to provke me again.

I pulled away from Noah and looked at him. "My answer is yes."

Noah looked at me confused. "Yes?"

"Yes, I'll marry you."

Shock was written all over his face. "You will?"

"Yes."

He furrowed his eyesbrows. "I don't think this is the time Alexis, your hurting and I want you to have a clear mind before you give ma an answer-"

"I am sure Noah, I love you and we don't know how much time we have together, I want to make the most of it." I said.

He tried to pull me off his lap but I wrapped my arms tightly around his neck "Please Noah, I want you, forever and always."

He sighed and hugged me tightly back. "Okay, I'm here."

I just wanted him to stay.
