Heads up... this is probably one of my favorite chapters.

Jungkook adjusted the sweater around his neck, pulling the soft material up and around his chin to protect the sensitive skin from the cold nip of winter air. Class had let out earlier than planned, a blizzard warning being the cause for the impromptu shutdown, leaving him stranded in the one place he hated most.
Clutching his books to his chest, he stepped out of the mathematics building and looked around the college campus, debating on if he should wait for a bus or call Jin to see if he could catch a ride. He knew his brother was busy with work but the idea of him turning into an ice cube on the bus stop bench might prompt the older to make the drive to get him.
"I completely bombed that test."
Caught off guard by the feminine voice suddenly beside him, Jungkook looked over his shoulder to see a girl from his class adjusting the buttons on her coat, smiling up at him the moment she realized she had successfully caught his attention.
"What was your score?" She asked, pulling her hair free of the thick material and crossing her arms over her chest.
"Seventy-four." He replied, stepping away from the building and heading towards the parking lot, knowing the girl would most likely follow.
Just as he predicted, she jogged behind him in an attempt to match his pace, adjusting the side bag on her shoulder. "Well Mr. Smarty-pants, if you're not busy this weekend I'm having a small party at my flat Saturday night. You should stop by and wish me happy birthday."
Jungkook's eyebrow peaked at the tacky flirt attempt, his eyes raking over her body as he tried to recollect a time they had ever had an actual conversation while sober that didn't involve her thirsting over him. He had seen her at parties a lot in the past but never felt it was necessary to learn her name since they never actually talked about anything interesting. Their topic of conversation was mainly him declining her advances or the occasional movie invite at her place while her roommate was out for the night.
"Sorry." He replied, putting on his best smile to not upset her any further than he was about to do. "I promised my boyfriend I would hang out with him this weekend."
The girl froze in place, her eyes widening at the statement. "Boyfriend?" Her gaze found the ground as she attempted to understand what he had just said. "You mean, a boy who's a friend, right?"
Jungkook shook his head. "No. I mean, my boyfriend boyfriend. As in, kissing and cuddling and shit."
"But you've never mentioned being in a relationship before, let alone with a guy." She thought for a moment, her eyes narrowing. "And I've seen you girls all the time."
Every muscle in his body cringed at the reputation he had obtained over the last few years, knowing the only reason she was inviting him to hang out was in hopes she would be his next lay. In any other situation, he would be flattered and flirt with the poor girl just to boost her confidence and simultaneously, his own. But things were different now. He wasn't the same Jungkook everyone in this university knew him as.
"This is a prank right?" She chuckled, looking back up at him. "You're just messing with me, right?"
Balancing the books in one hand, Jungkook reached inside his pants pocket, freeing his phone and opening the photo gallery. After taking a second to scroll, he turned the device so she was able to see the screen, displaying his favorite photo of him kissing the lips of the man he loved.
The girls brows furrowed as she looked down at the photo. "Oh, well. You two look cute together." She cleared her throat and took a step away, realizing how close she had grown to him. "I have to get home. I'll see you later Jungkook."
