Two Months Later

Hoseok had practiced the steps for a new dance repeatedly for the last couple of days, trying his best to perfect the fluid movement. Not only was his team counting on him to land the difficult trick, but so was Poppy. Since this was her second attempt at winning this dance competition, there was no way in hell he was going to let her down.

"Maybe try bringing your other hand down for balance before twisting back out." The small girl suggested from across the room, her short hair tied up on top of her head like the stem of an apple. She had spent over an hour in the practice room with Hobi, trying to come up with different ways to accomplish the difficult stunt.

But it wouldn't work.

If his other hand was touching the ground, it would only look sloppy and they could lose points. "I can get it." He firmed, crouching down and preparing to try one more time. "I just need to bring my leg over slower." He positioned his hands on the floor and took a deep breath before leaping backwards, attempting the flip once again.

But just like every time, he lost his balance on the landing and stumbled back.

"Damn it!" He exclaimed, staring at himself in the mirror as he shrunk to the ground and extended his legs out in front of him. "Why can't I land it?" He shouted, rubbing his knee as the joint began to flare up.

"Maybe we should come up with a different move." Poppy suggested, crossing the room to his side and joining him on the floor. "We can always change the choreography to a back handspring instead."

Hoseok shook his head, rolling onto his back and splaying his arms out to his side. "It's not as cool doing something so basic." He whined, kicking his feet out like a child. "I wanna look cool."

Somehow, his childlike behavior and over exaggerated expressions always brought a smile to Poppy's lips. "I think you look pretty cool." She praised, hoisting her leg over his abdomen and straddling his hips. "I think you're so cool." She repeated, trailing her fingers over his chest.

Slipping his hands along her thighs, Hoseok smiled up at her. "I don't think the janitor would appreciate walking in on us again." He stated, kneading her ass in his hands before casually grinding his hips against her.

"I'm pretty sure he didn't mind." She retorted, biting her lip as he continued to slowly roll his growing bulge against her heat. "He can't talk to me now without staring at Gertrude and Helga." She joked, squeezing her breasts teasingly.

Abruptly sitting up, Hoseok wrapped his arms around her, pressing his face against her chest. "I hate that you call them that." He replied, his words muffled in the cushion and fabric of her sports bra. "I think they should be renamed Diamond and Sapphire." He played along, kissing and nibbling at the exposed skin.

Poppy giggled, putting absolutely no effort into escaping his hold on her. "They can be called that when they decide to make friends with the sky instead of the ground." Patting his shoulder, she pulled from his grasp and stood to her feet. "Come on horn dog. Let's get you home and showered before you decide to show Hui another part of me he can fantasize about in the utility closet."

Knowing she was right, Hoseok pulled himself to his feet, wincing at the sharp pain that shot through his knee.

Caught off guard by the sudden sound, Poppy spun around, her eyes wide as they fell over a limping Hoseok. "Is your knee acting up again?" She questioned, jogging to her bag and unzipping the outer pocket.

Hoseok limped to her side, doing his best to hide the obvious pain burning just below his knee cap. "I just need to ice it again tonight."

"Just icing it isn't going to help. Here," She extended her hand, displaying a small white pill in the center of her palm.
