Jimin snuggled below his heated blanket with both hands wrapped firmly around his wine glass and eyes fixated on the TV as a random movie played on the screen. After everything that had happened that day, Jungkook confronting him and two clients seemingly taking their pent up frustrations out on him, a relaxing, carefree night was exactly what he needed.
Taking a sip of the burning red liquid, Jimin rolled his eyes and groaned as the couple on screen finally made up after exactly fifty-three minutes of a drama-filled roller coaster relationship that the entertainment industry referred to as romance.
"Absolutely ridiculous." He scoffed under his breath, swallowing the last of the drink before deciding he needed a refill. "How could you just change your mind about him so freely like that after all the shit that happened?" He mumbled to himself, pulling his arms from the warm cocoon he had spent the majority of the night in.
Just as he shifted his sitting position in order to grab the uncorked bottle off the coffee table, a sharp pain shot up his side, causing him to drop the wineglass onto the floor as he fought to readjust. Hissing, Jimin carefully removed the blanket and peered down at his exposed hip where a cluster of fresh bruises painted his skin.
They had definitely gotten worse within the past hour, appearing more vibrant than before and a few new spots making an appearance. Jimin traced his finger over his hip, questioning how he hadn't noticed the tight grip one of the men must have had.
Thinking back to both moments, Jimin quickly touched his fingers to his neck, hoping no visible evidence was developing like his hip. When no pain seemed to be present, he exhaled a sigh of relief and hung his head. Must have been the spanker then, he concluded, looking back up to the wine bottle.
"Do you need a new ice pack?" Hoseok asked as he suddenly entered the living room and removed the headphones covering his ears.
Finding the now melted bag of ice from his side, Jimin nodded as he pulled it from the blanket and handed it off to his best friend. Careful not to expose himself, Jimin readjusted the blanket over his naked form and carefully shifted his hips to collect the other ice pack numbing his thigh.
"I know you're against quitting your special training sessions, but I think it's time you at least cut off a few of your clients. These bruises are going to start causing long-term damage if you keep going at the rate you're at now." Hoseok scolded, collecting both ice packs from his best friend and heading towards the kitchen to grab new ones.
"No one ever said being a prostitute was easy." Jimin retorted, collecting his glass off the floor and preparing to indulge in another glass. "We can't all be Julia Roberts."
"Stop calling yourself that." Hoseok shot back, slamming the freezer door and making his way back to the couch. "I hate when you say that kind of stuff. You're not a prostitute, Chim."
Lifting the almost empty bottle off the coffee table, Jimin began pouring a new glass of the poisonous juice he loved more than anything in that moment. "You're right." He scoffed, practically overfilling the top. "I'm a personal trainer who specializes in hip thrusts, compression, and the draining of balls."
Hoseok stood at the edge of the living room and watched as the pink-haired boy struggled to take a sip of his wine without spilling it. "Is this attitude of yours because of what happened today?" He questioned, tossing the new bags of ice onto the couch beside his best friend before taking a seat on the opposite chair's armrest.
After swallowing the burning liquid, Jimin licked his lips and set the glass back on the table. "What happened today?" He questioned, picking up one of the ice packs and nestling it against his exposed thigh.
